With the TPD, I put mine on the minimum and waited to see what happend. They all stopped eventually so I then increased the time on each one until I got it right. I Have a Dukwin nine watch winder and so far am very happy with it.

If you take the perceived value of each watch out of the equation I’d choose omega. But once you add that back in then the hulk it is. But if it were me I’d sell the hulk then buy the omega and go on vacation with the left over.

I recently got the white (enamel?) dial variant with the arabics similar to the blue one you almost bought, but with a smooth bezel instead of fluted. I’m liking it a lot, in my mind it is somewhat of a blend between Explorer, Explorer II and Alpinist.

Definitely made as well as a date just I’ve had both and you can’t go wrong with either!.

The name Grand Seiko is printed on the dial. The GS Monogram is placed on it. These are two loose letters glued on.

Both great, iconic, omega all in all is a better watch, on the other hand rolex is better in value and is much more popular.

No date or at least at 4 o'clock would be nicer IMO. Not sure I will ever buy another Ball due to service center options on tritium.
