I think people throw the word "hype" around without engaging their brains. The white is popular but wasn't hyped before or during the launch. In fact this was just dropped into the omega speedmaster professional lineup... Just so happens many liked it... hence it's popular (not hyped) . They never created artificial lines or shortages on the white. It was just part of a regular campaign... no loud splash or anything.
@the timekeeper I think we are neighbors based off your opening comments! Guess what…I was the first person to get it at that boutique…had my 1k deposit down…then, like you, my 8.1k sunk in and reality took over and I withdrew my deposit due to a medical expense due the same time I got the call from the boutique. I was definitely bummed but at the same time realized since it’s not a LE, it’ll be available down the road in a secondary market for less anyway. It is a stunner no doubt though.
@@TheTimekeeper That makes sense. I've got a full deposit down at an OB for the bracelet version, but they just have no idea when to expect more stock... was curious if your OB has any idea when they might see their second shipment and how many they expect. The wait is going to feel much longer than it should! haha
I've tested the White dial on my wrist, I was so disapointed. It is ugly White that makes you feel youbare in a surgey room at hospital... The Black is much more classy, has more contrasts and plays with light so as specially warmful and poétique way that gives you the moon vibes on your wrist. This is my opinion of course not an advice
I get where you're coming from. It's not a great looking watch, sorry. And the shape of the case does nothing for me. The worst part is the design of the dial. That's probably why this guy never got one single speedmaster.
Good looking watch but bad value for money. It’s not a stunning watch like white panda speedmasters. I would rather buy a pre owned traditional Omega sapphire sandwich for $5500 range.
@TheTimekeeper if you study watcharts website you will see all speedmaster professionals go for acquisition or above acquisition cost 5 yrs onwards. (Of course will depend on condition as with all others).
@@Mega-zi7ysThis is not an underwear. Your analogy is like a first grader. When you grow up think like a smart buyer rather than an emotional/impulsive buyer who gets carried away by youtube influencers or reading articles on Hondinkee whose ultimate aim is to create hype and then sell the same watches they write about. 99% of the Omega Speedmasters including the latest ones sell in the secondary market for a lesser price than original price.
Got mine 2 weeks ago, love it!!

Stunning. A great future addition to your collection. Wear your existing watches in good health!
Would ,I’ve to have the new one but I think the black one will do justice fine.
I also got to try it on, it looks amazing.
Have it along side my black 3861. It’s magnificent.👏🇦🇺
I'm in love with this watch
nice! btw that piece on ur wrist caught my attention the entire time
It’s very nice for sure.
Thats a keeper ❤❤❤❤
Do you still wear your snxj90 from time to time?
I really don’t and it’s not because I don’t like the watch. I just like looking at it.

Did they give any indication of how long the wait would be for the bracelet version?
He basically just shrugged and said that I could order the bracelet separately.

Phenomonal watch on your wrist, what's ur wrist size mate?
18.4 cm or 7.25 inches.
6months to a year? im hearing 2 months from my AD
That’s even better. I hope that’s the case.
I got the call after 2 weeks.
That’s why I love Omega. You can actually buy them.
I heard July from my AD
At 4:56 into your video the links look like an AI video.
I used AI software to make a longer slow motion version of the original clip.

White is nice but it’s just hyped. Ultimately the black one looks much better IMO
It’s the classic. There is a side of me that would always choose it over the white.
Storm trooper. Nick name
That could work.
LAME square looking watch. The Daytona is the sexy bad boy. This watch is bookworm nice guy.
Nothing wrong with a book worn nice guy imho.

Dam.. The white space is too much
It’s definitely not for everyone. That’s why it needs to be seen in person before making such a big purchase.

That’s my plan. Hoping prices go down further.

Not every one Wants to wear somebody else's underwear you know? 😂
Why you so bitter?😂

Black looks better
OG all the way.
