I just picked up the 41 with blue dial and Jubilee Bracelet. I have to say I was unimpressed in the shop until the version with the diamond numerals popped out at me. It made all the difference in my eyes because the dial really comes alive with just that small touch. One reason I'm sure is the diamond quality Tudor uses which is always VVSI with G color or better. That was the 1st time I have ever walked into a Tudor store, and I will definitely return.
Big fan of the BB39 & the BB41 as well. Personally, I felt that Tudor had the most exciting array of releases this year at Watches & Wonders. I realize thats subjective though. You and I share very similar wrist dimensions. Typically between 7.25 to 7.5, dependent upon the time of day, and so on. We also share similar taste, in watches in general. I lived and worked around the D.C. metropolitan area for about 8 years. Beautiful place. Very modern. I lived in Manassas, but worked all over, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. Miss the area at times, but don't miss the traffic. I'm sure you can relate. Glad I found your channel. Best wishes....
Reminds me of a perfect mix of OP and datejust without the date obviously but still with Tudor features. Thinking of getting one of these and changing my models on my first rolex registration as the rolex would need to be far enough away from this to justify spending twice the amount. This wasn't on my radar until I tried one on unplanned the other day, it's really class in person
Just picked up the blue 36. I’m used to wearing larger watches and the 39 sat well on my wrist, but I just thought on my wrist personally the 36 was pure class. (I have a 6.75 wrist)
Nice discussion. Just picked up a 41 in Champagne, I love it. Perfect everyday watch, sort of the best of DJ (jubilee) and OP (no date), and a size for every wrist. I like the way they took the case a different direction from the diver BBs.
@@edysonegejuru4942 7.5 - I like lug to lug around 50. It’s worth trying these on if you have a dealer nearby, there is a size for everyone in this range.
Ha I’m not too far away! I normally go to Radcliffe’s out near Towson. I’ve been waiting to see this watch. Didn’t realize the AD’s had them in stock already
the other thing to note is that the jubilee bracelet is much more comfortable then an oyster, as the links are smaller, so flow around the wrist more, and they are more curved as well. i agree, the anthracite is the most beautiful
Thanks for the review! I personally really like the look and have been considering one. I have a 17 cm wrist so I'm thinking more 39mm vs 36mm. Might go for the Tudor if I don't find a 38 mm Aqua Terra Terracotta dial first!
Hi Mate, I’m considering this watch with the anthracite dial for my only watch, the other contender is the green sea master. It’s interesting to see you have both, if you could only have one which would you pick and why? Thanks
If they had the black face without the gold and on an oyster style bracelet I'd have bought this just for the new caliber and the clasp. Really bummed now I didn't buy the old BB41 black (old style).

I think the jubilee + new movement makes this a compelling alternative to the Rolex OP (and likely more available too!)
Like a orders of magnitude more available and yes I totally agree.
I like the writing on the face going from “rotor” to chronometer…makes it look more grown up. That and the bracelet and new movement. Winner.
I know this is a year old, but I just wanted to say great review. Thank you!

Hopefully a gloss black dial is released later on with an oyster option.
Close, gloss black dial with jubilee bracelet = perfection
Gloss black would be good. I just brought the 41mm in the Grey/charcoal dial. It's pretty much black on an angle and in shadows

That’s the one i would choose from the new references.
What’s your wrist size.

Great vid, great watch. Tudor is amazing. Thank you.

Great story. Love ❤️the 39!

I think the 39 is the perfect happy medium.
I think I tried on the same exact Anthracite watch over the weekend at Tysons.
That’s awesome!
Just brought the 41mm in anthracite

The BB 39 or 41 is the more do it all watch but the seamaster is really great too and could be dressed up in a pinch. I might go for the seamaster
I’m deciding between this, but the 36mm I have a 6.5” wrist, vs the BB58 blue. Tough decision to make.
I love the BB58. If you don’t have a nice diver go 58.
@@TheTimekeeper it will actually be my first expensive watch! So hard to decide yet
Going to stick with the 58 unless you really like this style of watch.
I am thinking to buy the blue one but in a perfect world I would put the old black dial one on it

I agree with 41mm being too big and I wear a bb gmt, for some reason I fit with the bb gmt perfect but the bb41 feels too big.
39mm is the sweet spot. I would get the 36mm before the 41.
Jubilee is flat on one side.
5 link is completely oval both sides.
