      Hey thank you for your feedback, in this video I am advocating benefits of resistance training for women, the easiest way is to lift weights for this yet do understand that it is challenging and not everyone likes to solely lift weights. What type of training are you doing? For overall health, a fitness program needs to pay attention to cardio fitness endurance, muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility and body composition.

    As a 52 year old, post menopausal woman, I love looking muscular. It's also great to see weight training becoming more popular among women here on youtube. However... being 'bulky' is a very subjective term. I tend to look bulky because I have a higher bodyfat percentage, being lean has never really worked for me. And unfortunately, I still know enough people who would find you way too bulky.

    • @_thenakedwarrior
      @_thenakedwarrior 4 місяці тому

      I’m a 45 year old perimenopausal woman and have found weight training to help many of my clients through this stage of life - has actually helped them to reduce body fat levels so they feel more sculpted. You’re right though bulky can be a subjective descriptive word and is used here as it’s a common word women associate with doing weights and it’s actually high body fat and lack of muscle tone that contributes more to looking and feeling bulky. A good body fat range to aim for is 20-25% not just for aesthetics yet more for health and Iongevity. Appreciate your feedback 🙌🏻

    Every time you eat, you raise your insulin levels. Keeping your insulin levels elevated is called chronic hyperinsulinemia. Chronic hyperinsulinemia is the root cause of most metabolic disorders (diabetes, obesity, PCOS, etc). Best snack is no snack. Next best snack is anything no-carb, high fat → eating fat doesn't spike insulin. Snacking on carbs and having the desire to snack on carbs is a sign of sugar addiction → carbs are just sugar molecules linked together. If you cannot keep the bar stable while doing a barbell bench press, SWITCH TO DUMBBELLS, there is likely a muscle Imbalance. It’s dangerous to use clips especially if you are alone,and second of all your video addresses all teaming weather it’s by yourself or with a partner.

    10 years ago you could walk into a loaded bar, maybe add a couple of plates (or take them off) do your sets and leave it loaded as you found it knowing the next guy would use a similar weight… Now the gyms full of women, snowflakes and “influencers” that want empty bars so they can post shit video’s like this on the internet… YOU and people like you are what’s wrong with this industry. @@_thenakedwarrior I don't train with other people in the gym and I am not gonna go ask other people for help when I don't need it. I have only once ever had to roll the bar to the side to get the weights off and I am very happy there were no collars on. The reason why I like collars on for example a deadlift is to to make sure they stay in place every time I set it on the floor. It is more a thing when warming up with one plate. Especially if it is thinner plates. They tend to move around more on the bar. Once the bar is loaded for 100kg or more nothing really moves and collars becomes just annoying
