So envious that you got to dive in Deepspot! I've always wanted to do the Y-40 in Italy, but the lack of a club and buddy willing to go has always been a problem. My freediving highlights have been a couple of trips to the Red Sea and Caribbean, and seeing some amazing coral reefs.
@@_thenakedwarrior Sharm el-Sheikh, where I did my 2*, and Na'ama Bay, a few miles north of Sharm, which I reckon was better for reef diving. Looking forward to more of your freediving videos - it's a great sport. (I only took it as far as Level 2 - below 25m it got rather too scary for me!)
@@meghan3235 We have reasonable pools in the UK, but the obstacles are more that it's hard to find a qualified buddy or club within reasonable driving distance, and most pools don't like people using fins, or practising freediving. They've been talking about a facility called 'Blue Abyss' in UK for nearly a decade now I think, but the project hasn't yet got off the ground. When it does, I expect club use will be limited, and prohibitively expensive, i.e. cheaper to fly to Italy.

Aah that’s on my wish list to visit - I’ll let you know if I do! Where in the Red Sea did you go?

We've been scuba diving in the Caribbean several times. But it's quite a trip for us to get there.
The coral formations are spectacular!
@@anotherfreediver3639thank you, watch this space as I’ve got more filming in the pipeline and trips planned !
@@meghan3235would love to see that!
I wish there was something like that where I live!
So do I!!
I’m lucky to have local pools and that Deepspot is an adventure away
@@_thenakedwarrior We have local pools as well but nothing like that one.
@@meghan3235 Where in the world are you?
@@_thenakedwarrior I live in Wisconsin in the USA.
What I mean this that we have pools here like the first one but nothing like that DeepSpot pool.
