Fun fact: Dido's ability, for all intents and purposes, turns the new city into your "original capital" the "Original Capital" wording is meant for if you get your capital captured, it's based on that capital and not your new temporary capital. Casa is 100% exploitable by Dido :D

I never use the Liberalism policy card in most games, I usually bunch up holysites (with the river goddess pantheon), theater squares, and entertainment complexes to get more culture yeilds from the adjacency bonus. While I use the entertainment complex and holysite adjacent to a river to gain extra amenities. I also use the republican lecacy in early game. During the late game, I use waterparks (and their buildings) to stack the amenities with the entertainment complex gaining me a ton of amenities without needing many luxury resources. After unlocking professional sports, I use the new economic policy card (sorry can't remember what it is called) to generate more amenities (in stadiums) as well as increase adjacency bonuses of theater squares. New deal helps a lot when I unlock democracy, but it becomes obsolete when I get digital democracy and when I get the chance to build Estadio. Anyways.... that's my approach at amenities in civ 6.

I mean if you pick this civ, you cannot just chill. It would be a complete waste of a civ pick.

having never played online are multiplayer games always planed on 'online speed'? i tried that pace last night on single player vs ai and the game goes along very quickly, maybe too quickly for my tastes

The insane thing on Dutch is that when playing on lakes or primitive, it is really easy to find places with two tile wide long lakes or straits, and the adjacencies of Polders starts pouring in right at feudalism, and the stats starts exploding. And they has one of the most consistent district adjacency in the game that makes their inland settles good as well, which a lot other naval civs cannot do in these maps.

Out of curoisity, why after 9:10 did you decide the amber? You minus 1 production the tile by removing the woods, wheras settling the floodplain right of it would net you +1 to that tile and keep the yields on the amber ( and mineable = mines are op). No flame but just curious on your view
