Yes, you could build strong and populous cities in the early game to ensure you remain competitive throughout the endgame. Alternatively, you could have the same I.Q. score as an orc from Warhammer 40K
Hey you might consider separating/splitting the discord audio from all other audio you are recording for these games so that you can still communicate with people in game at your leisure without spilling the conversations into these videos. I like the videos and streams. Keep up the good work amigo.
This just teaches me to ALWAYS be wary of any nearby civ with war bonuses - war civ is always war civ. And the loss of gold to buy escorts is well worth than the settler movement delay. Definitely painful for this game with the nerves as well from the troll unit movements from that archer at the startxD
I was thinking about halfway through this: Why doesn't Herson attack Ottoman? If he goes for Macedon he'll be way too overextended whereas Ottoman is vulnerable and a juicier target....Welp
Depends on who you're playing. What you're lacking is yield upkeep and era troop catch up, If you're in industrial you need a musket atleast to get defenses up, If you're too focused on commercials and markets for trades, everyone else would have gotten crusade and unlocked nationalism to over run you
I know it is commonly accepted that commiting to an early war leads to stunted development however is it not advantageous to send a scout or two to force others to waste resources trying to defend early settlers? Is it at least possible?
How come he didn't build any anti-air guns? Aren't those able to stop bombers that have nukes? Wouldn't it also have helped to make some when Norway was attacking and there were fighter jets everywhere?
Trust me they aren't declaring on you, you are a no one. They only declared on herson because he streams and makes video. That's mainly why Jack The ripper and many other big streamer don't play FFA anymore
@@StraightEdgeSC2 Ok sorry, we had very different experience, from all the 7 games i did, nobody bothered me except one player that tried to kill me later on the game but not early at all. What happened to you? lmao
I was building them for the purpose of culture victory, not science victory. Neighborhoods help achieve culture victory because the Better Balanced Game mod buffs shopping malls to provide +20 tourism.
Hey man, love your videos, but you need an editor. I would love to watch one of your full games, but theres no way I can sit through so many minutes of very little happening. You might consider some of Ursa Ryan’s editing style.
I think city trading should be considered a surrender to just get by the whole you need to lose 80% to leave, like it makes the game interesting cuz the person who got the cities may now pose a power threat.
Yo man I think you gotta cut these down if you wanna take the next step. Five hours is hard to commit to. Civ content creators like Potato excel because they have proper editing and discussion throughout their video and it's cut to highlight that media. Another tactic is releasing the full game in multiple parts. Another *another* tactic is uploading full vods to a second channel, so % of video watched doesn't affect your main channel algorithm. Simply put you are a great mind for the game but I think you'd see significant improvement if there was some video length consideration and attention to how it affects your algo
9:30 lol wtf Civ 5 holds up artistically way better than Civ 6 or any other civs, like mechanics can be split apart sure but artistically Civ 5 holds up the best in the current day and age
Basically everyone I have met prefers 5 graphics over 6. However that game ran like ass on the hardware of the era, so I can see why they went this direction
Of all the ppl they could’ve chosen to attack , they chose the one with the unique walls
herson finally getting popular enough to get streamer griefed
I fear this sort of early agression will become more common at your games @Herson since people always gravitate towards griefing popular opponents
It's not griefing it's a strategy
Herson is the civ 6 version of what Filthyrobot was for civ 5.
God I loved those filthy robot videos.
What's he up to these days?

That would honestly be an insult to da boys, these gitz aren't even worthy of being associated with orkz.
If: Settler in range(2_tiles)
Perform: Hail Mary
I wonder what are the elos
I guess imma cancel my Netflix subscription with this steady supply of Herson VODs
Wow that ending was tragic. Gg
Auckland, Cardiff, AND Nan Madol while playing England Kreygasm
I love how these two dont understand how to play the game, so they decided “Alright lets try and grief literally the best player in the lobby”
in the end, anything goes thats allowed and fun is what matters the most, so no reason not to :P
@@FlyingThunder i know they just picked the worst target lol
@@Rose-ew7bv They picked the best target because they could see his reaction.
I mean when you’re new, you just get a free pass to trying out the silliest things for experience building haha
Rough game but very entertaining.
Tbh I would have been fuming the entire game. Nothing went your way this game.

I think Herson is also distracted by the people speaking in the game, and doesn’t want to hear them

"this spawn is highly suspect." if only you knew 😢
knew what? did he cheat?
Knew what?
Pure chaos game ... the crazy risk of going thru an ally and then getting back stabbed with all your troops far away
funny as hell you found out about the trump stuff from twitch chat
you need to start playing under a pseudonym so you don't get griefed lol
Anonymous mode might work if they weren’t all in a discord call
may be not a gent club but still a valid play XD not a good play but still lol
It is interesting to see, how people like to attack the only Civ that actually builds walls...
the salt must flow
Can you make a guide on how to maintain era score?
I'm a new player, and I've been getting stomped on cpl. I noticed he didn't go for internals, is internals meta dead?
No-one knows yet

I think monumentality civs don't tend to go for internals too early anyway
The beta patch nerfed Magnus internals, but there's still other options
Amani with cs trade is quite good early especially after reyna nerf
I know it is commonly accepted that commiting to an early war leads to stunted development however is it not advantageous to send a scout or two to force others to waste resources trying to defend early settlers?
Is it at least possible?
Nobody wants to risk the other person being vindictive and torpedoing their whole game. It’s a prisoners dilemma type situation
If you were suspecting to be nuked why didn't you make air defense units?
Are they not good?
How come he didn't build any anti-air guns? Aren't those able to stop bombers that have nukes? Wouldn't it also have helped to make some when Norway was attacking and there were fighter jets everywhere?
Hi Herson the Person!
HAHAHAHA . I SO don't miss CPL. Fucking Zoo.
A full game of animal research right there

ngl i think its smart to team up against a strong player early
sure, if you don't mind being irrel war'd into the ground
how does the food and production of his empire show up at the top of his screen? is that a ui mod?
Enhanced bitrate ftw
I recall you accepting a delegation from Zulu, I don't recall you actually sending one though, but too much work to go back through and verify

That Macedonia player is such a baby. People like him should be banned.
Do people usually play online Civ6 without barbs?
first like :)

tbh ffa civ6 multiplayer does not seem fun. Its just luck and grief. Team games or back to single player
