Good video! You should try Remington slugger high velocity 2 3/4 inch slugs. They are the best grouping slug I've found in my Remington 870 with a smooth bore 18.5 inch barrel. It would be cool to see them tested out of different guns and see the velocity because I do not have a chronograph. Good video and God bless.

I have seen those slugs shoot some nice groups. As we know, it comes down to the barrel/gun.

I miss when they made these copper plated truball at the full 1600 they use a harder alloy lead plus the plating don't lead up the barrel as bad

I have a 20 ga smooth bore with a rifled choke that I used for a slug gun last year. In my testing with it before last deer season I tried all kinds of slugs even some 3 inch “magnum” slugs. After testing about 5 different brands, surprisingly the federal truball was one of the worst. Giving me a 5 inch group at 50 yards on a good day. As compared to the 2 inch group at 50 yards that I saw from Herters slugs and also Winchester

I picked up some of the non-plated versions of these in the low recoil (1300fps), the normal (1600), and 3" (1700) varieties. Along with some brenneke green lightnings, and ATS slugs. Looking forward to these upcoming slug tests!

Was that from a clean barrel? I've had similar results from a clean barrel until I shot about 12 rounds thru it and then it started grouping better

Paul Harrell did a video on the mysterious 9th pellet. I don't normally deer hunt with buckshot but that was a decent pattern.

Better than I had anticipated. Pretty good overall for a more budget load.

I would like to see more than 1 pattern , - is this tight, average or open for this load? How consistently does it pattern. Does it pattern this nice every time, some of the time or only once in a hundred? "A scientific sample size of One is not much better than None"! Why not shoot 2 or 3 patterns per load so your data is not so full of questions and has a few more answers.

Not bad at all, decent spread and good spacing. Makes me optimistic for some old Remington managed recoil 8 pellet 00 buck I have laying around. Would you consider testing the 3" 12 pellet federal flight control buckshot?

Pattern isn’t bad I’ve always gotten really great patterns with a modified choke my 1100 would be on target at 100 yards with all 8 pellets

Good performance for 000 buck load, is not wad, this is important comparative for buckshot into wad.The 0.360 buck (66-70 gr) is high impat for target. Sorry for my english

This load shoots better out of my REM 870 with the Buck Kicker Extra Full.

I use this load and a regular full choke in my 1100 with good results. This is typical performance with these loads

Those aren't flyers they are insurance.Little bit futher than you thought and they're right in there.That is a good choke from what I've seen other youtubers do.Maybe that choke grabbing the wad slows the shot down a bit.That would be interesting to see the Buck Kicker against a more traditional choke.Viewers need to hit the thumbs up,this is great content.

Try that choke with the Winchester Defender Copper Plated 00 load. I get all 9 pellets in a 10” x 10” circle at 50 yards with that combo.

I don’t see anything wrong with that one. Do you have a Primos Jellyhead .560? I don’t know if you shot that one with a Herter’s. They shoot fine out of mine, but I get a little more leeway with the 560 in mine even though it is a tighter constriction than the 568 you just shot. I typically shoot the Apex 2 3/4 inch 9, and it patterns great with that 560.

My stoeger m3020 and 568 non-ported with herters shoots lights out at 45 yrds.
