Lol, totally not news. We have known about the gen5 remakes made by ILCA/Pokemon Works for forever. Some said it was coming before gen10, some said after. Some tried saying it was skipped because of ZA, but that is a legends game, not a gen 6 remake. Just because Khu made a post about a hint about a BW game means nothing more than there was. 😅

I did some research and concluded that BW remakes will be released for the switch 2. I looked at the years each mainline game came out and to my surprise, every remake released every new console and one remake each new console. FRLG on the GBA HGSS on the DS ORAS on the 3DS BDSP on the Nintendo Switch Possibly BW remakes on the Nintendo Switch 2

As a Day 1 defender of BW/2 PLEASE skip gen 5 Gamefreak, we don't need another BDSP remake of sorts. They are literal perfection, don't you dare touch them Gamefreak.

Soooo Pokémon Day 25 we get our PLZA trailer and release date and a Black / White 3 Teaser for Late 2025 early 26… Making Generation 10 a Holiday 2026 Release date now. Also side note boys only core generations are “main line games” let’s go and others of the sort are side games. So this is absolutely a remake

I want there to be ports, just so Dusty can be free. GAMEFREAK, FREE MY MAN, DUSTY FROM HIS SUFFERING. Give him ports! POOOOORTS! Also, ports would just be dope af to play and transfer Pokemon directly from there to HOME on the same console would be really nice and convenient.

Anyone can say something about Gen 5 remakes coming for five years when it’s next in line and eventually be correct.

Y'all really let Khu gaslight you into believing he's an actual leaker. Bro spent all of 2023 hyping up Unova/Johto remakes only to be completely wrong, when they announced PLZA he got you guys again by saying it wouldn't be the only game announced and that we'd still get something else for 2024, and he was wrong again. Stop giving him free clout and face reality; he's a fraud.

The pattern for all the previous macro-generations is a new generation, then a remake, then a new generation. That's what they did for ds, 3ds, and switch1 So gen 10 will probably come first.

I suspect there's something behind this, but at this point a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush and I just want to hear more about Legends Z-A already. Now, if it was ONLY Khu saying this, I wouldn't give it the time of day. We know he has sources, but we also know that 1. some of the stuff he's said has been wrong, and 2. he has a track record of trolling the fanbase.

Even if BW remakes turn out to be real after all I hope leakers stop doing their thing at the earliest possible opportunity, the reveal will now be bogged down with like two year's worth of speculation fatigue which leads to even worse fandom discourse if the game doesn't even look good, and Khu being right this time won't completely fix the damage his reputation took. Just wait until you ACTUALLY know for sure a thing is happening and when (or preferably just stop leaking but you know that's never happening).

Game freak pull back on ZA after the leaks and now goong to rush out BW remakes to keep the fans guessing? I'll die of it's November Legends Arceus was so great to have in January honestly. BDSP was hot trash for me and ive never hated a Pokémon game.... well since gen 4 😂 and I thought the remake would make me like it. I played on release and not until this FALL did i beat the game 😅 Went back and played some BW2 and i was in awe at all the stuff i forgot and how full and ALIVE the game was. Way more than even SV

What if, the original plan was to do BW Remakes in 2024 (3 year cycle after BDSP by the same team) and ZA in 2025. Then after the disastrous response to BDSP, they pulled ILCA aside and delayed the release of the game until after ZA instead of trying to rush ZA?

I truly belive Khu became addicted to the attention he received and in a way that should not matter, but after seeing all his "leaks" after the release of the Indigo disk, I really think that Khu losed his source but wants to keep the attention so he started fabricating leaks, also having into account that predicting a remake of gen 5 is the safest "leak" that can be fabricated, eventually he will be "right", and there will be people who really think that he leaked something

Genuinely hearing this just makes me feel mixed. On one hand, yes it's cool to hear about the BTW remake is probably still coming and unlike most fans I didn't hate the idea of BDSP if anything it being Shinnoh made me not wanna play it not it's overall look or gameplay. But on the other, firstly I just don't want this to make things worse for Pokemon than we already have given this year felt like a breath of fresh air without Journalist or other people making comments every 50 seconds about the franchise in a negative light. And I feel if this is gonna happen in 2025 which I hope not, it would make all that good will shrivel up in an instant given how many hated BDSP and will likely hate these games on principal even if they improve what they did before. And probably bring down all the hate once more. Best case scenario for me is it's not Black and White but something else (very doubtful) or it's gonna be announced in 2027 after gen 10 and Legends ZA so we can keep some good will before world war IDK the number happens for this series and the general audiences again. Worst case..well 2025 is worse and yet also somewhat good for Pokemon fans depending on what is announced.

My speculation is Synapse going to be a Gen 5 game instead. They might have changed their courses.

It’s definitely interesting. The thing about khu is, I remember him distinctly calling (get ready for bad spelling) the starter evolution gimmick, okinalogune, pawmot, annahilape, kilowattrel, toedscruel, paldean tauros, scovillan, tinkaton Baccalibur, and bloodmoon Ursaluna. So that tells me he has some degree of credibility. But he was also pushing the idea of bw remakes before the announcement of legends ZA. So wether he’s lost his source or he knows even more than has been announced is still up in the air, but they call him unreliable after everything he said, is rather ignorant of people in the community. It makes sense, I normally have a good sense of real leaks and fake leaks, everything is just a bit too neat here, bit too neat, fits together nice and isn't too outlandish, plus with Khu's track record I'm enclined to say it's true

A lot of signs point towards Unova, but I feel like splitting focus between two regions - ESPECIALLY when one doesn’t have mega evolution while the other does - would send mixed messages as far as marketing goes. It’s not impossible, but it makes me wonder if they’d really do that, since BDSP releasing with PLA just 3 months later was already a very cluttered-feeling time as a fan. It makes me wonder if they’d remaster XY for switch, and if this project would be that instead. The pipe dream is for them to include some of the cut content, including scrapped Pokemon, but a better version of XY in general would be much appreciated given how much those games had to sacrifice to even release in the first place. Either way, this info turns expectations for the series in 2025 on their head, ESPECIALLY since Khu was very clear that whatever the project is, it’s on switch 2.

I hope the next game is something entirely unrelated to BW just so whatever remains of his beliebability is gone.

What if they never announced b/w games because it was a switch 2 exclusive there are rumors switch 2 was delayed so it makes sense why it wasn’t announced also the reason why we haven’t gotten any za news is because it’s supposed to show of the switch 2 backwards compatibility if you think about the switch 2 announcement rumors which were October and now January khu said za was supposed to announce something in October now he’s saying something is happening in January
