Imagine…. For a massive 30th anniversary swing…. They change the starter typing wheel… First game ever the starters are NOT Fire/Water/Grass… One thing that I thoroughly believe is foreseeable is that 10th Generation will NOT have Mega Evolution as they will want to focus the Generations SPECIFIC mechanic… UNLESS they just dive deeper into Mega Evolution as a whole… Being that via the Tera Leak we can assume 10th Gen will be islands surrounded by water that the legends will almost certainly be a retouch on a Land Legendary and a Sea Legendary or if the titles are actually Wind and Sea then maybe a Flying legendary and Water legendary that will be the versions specific Ride Pokemon. Also PLZ bring back SOS shiny hunting

20:50 I know u guys hate hearing stuff like this,(u know, actual taxonomic science!! lol) but I wanna make it clear that mosasaurs R NOT dinosaurs!! In fact, they r lizards!!! Genuine taxonomic lizards. In fact they were the largest lizards to ever live, and as far as I know, the only group of fully aquatic lizard!! they live all over the world, so they r a great candidate for a fossil Pokémon. Spinosaurus r only found in northern Africa, or basically the southern Mediterranean, so it could kinda work for a Greece region.

Sorry if this comes off as hater like but while I appreciate Dusty's natural ability to speak, his mic picking out every little sound his mouth makes genuinely makes this podcast a little hard to listen to sometimes. Don't know how much distance from the mic plays a part in that but I don't experience this with the others and they keep their mics further away so there's that. I might have a mild case of misophonia (my sister has it and I know this would be a huge problem for her lol) so it may not be an issue for most but if it is I imagine they just wouldn't say it cause it can come off as rude or nitpicky, so I'll just be that guy.😭

If they do a region collection, they may as well combine the regions and allow us to travel them all, starting where we want, which changes the starter choicies, while delivering Yellow style starter gifts for the ones we don't have. >Usual Starter trio for the home region >Pikachu/Eevee >Gible >Shinx >Magicarp Base Kanto off FRLG Base Kanto off HGSS Base Hoenn off ORAS Base Sinnoh off a better BDSP Base Unova on B2W2 Update the regions after to accommodate the Megas and mechanics.

Speaking of starters I may have a theory for the Gen 10 fire starter. As you know the first Pokemon game was released in 1996 which was the Year of the Fire Rat, the first animal of the Chinese Zodiac. Every of the zodiac animals has an element with them (water, earth, fire, wood, or metal) depending on the year. Here’s the list from 1996-2007: 🐀🔥1996 🐂🔥1997 🐅🪨1998 🐇🪨1999 🐉⚙️2000 🐍⚙️2001 🐎💧2002 🐏💧2003 🐒🌳2004 🐓🌳2005 🐕🔥2006 🐖🔥2007 Now here is the order from Gen 1 to Gen 9, pay attention to the elements. And I’m listing Fuecoco as the snake because crocs and snakes are reptiles. Also crocs move like snakes in the water. And some of the starters aren’t exactly like the zodiac animals but do have similar traits. 🐉⚙️Charmander 🐀🔥Cyndaquil 🐓🌳Torchic 🐒🌳Chimchar 🐖🔥Tepig 🐕🔥Fennekin 🐅🪨Litten 🐇🪨Scorbunny 🐍⚙️Fuecoco So all that are left are the ox, horse, & sheep. So if you look at the starters pattern we can see that maybe the next Gen 10 fire starter will be the ox and Gen 11-12 will be the horse and sheep. It’s simple: gen 10, the entire region is new, and introduces several hundreds of new Pokémon and bring back nations Pokédex 30th anniversary game: the collection of ALL the Pokémon games from gen 1-9 Both should be available for trade from one game to another and both should be released in Nintendo Switch 2

i mean while i love pokemon and always would dream for gamefreak to actually surprise us and so something this amazing, reality is they have proven in recent years to definitely not expect much of them, so this sounds very unrealistic

Some comments will always end a discussion..... Like the earth is flat or we haven't been to space........ For me it's ANY real mention of a game 'with all the regions' or gamefreak putting out a 'collection' of Pokémon games; it's just never going to happen

I want pokemon games to be as good as they were in the past before gen 6. All these ideas are good but since this is the pokemon company I'm sure we will be disappointed
