For all their sophistication, it seems that most of the cheats don't think long term about a sophisticated betting strategy that doesn't raise suspicion. Seems like you could avoid a lot of heat just by doing an 80% win rate instead of 100%. You had a good night- not the night of a lifetime night after night, particularly in a game like poker where your "luck" could be attributed to skill to a large extent.

I love to watch people outsmart the Casino's. (Casino's calls it cheating?) But when Casino's CHEAT, everyone is tight lipped. CASINO's DO CHEAT. Try video taping them, they'll chase you away.

Know this story very well. The guy was a meth head according to poker pro Matt Berkey. Everyone in poker knew because he offered high stakes pros 25k chips for 10k. The cops didn't have enough evidence to arrest him. The chips likely didn't have RFID in them at the time. The casino because of money laundering has to verify owners of the chips. The guy basically flaunted that he was the thief. If he just threw out those 25k Bellagio chips he probably gets away with it. Vegas security will not shoot thieves or take them down unless they open fire. 7 years later after this Bellagio was robbed again but this time the Rolex store and basically everyone took photos/videos. A bunch of onlookers. They even fired a gun to break the glass security didn't do anything. Also only one robber out of the four were caught till this day. All Vegas casinos have at least one off duty cop working security.

Having that you would play those good hands and lose so that it drops suspicion. So easy to do knowing you are going to win anyway. He might be good at the cheating but was useless at masking his play so as to stop that suspicion something was up.
