PSA. long time in the casino business here. been a dice dealer, manager, pit boss, backed off card counters etc etc. believe me when I tell you that the casinos LOVE players who think they can actually control the dice. the walls of the table are lined with what is called "the alligator". even if u learn to control the trajectory of the dice, once they hit the alligator its complete variance. no casino with integrity will allow a shooter to consistently not hit the wall, especially if they were winning.
I've always been barked at if even one die doesn't hit the wall. I prefer to hit the wall so that's a double whammy. I've been on rolls before and they're fun. Hell, one time I rolled snake eyes 3 in a row but I didn't bet the 3rd time. Someone did though lol He got paid 750 and flipped me a quarter. I put it down for the crew.
What's also hilarious is I have only been at a few craps tables in my life and I have seen many people maneuver the dice a certain way before they roll meaning they think they have some system. So likely quite a few craps players will think they have some sort of system on controlling the dice no matter what.
True, The Gator Wall disrupts any attempt to get a perfect shot, But Here is what I have learned.... There is no way to escape the SEVENS. But There are ways to get a small advantage. I have done repeated rolls over and over (on my table) and logged the results after thousands of tosses. example: I can use a certain dice set and toss style to consistently hit more 6's than any other number, including the 7's, and other numbers come up less frequently (less than random rolling) so I only bet on the number SIX. I have the Place 6 bet ALWAYS working even on come out. The only time I lose is if I am betting on other shooters, or if I bet on other numbers. The longest roll I ever did was 53 rolls without a seven out, But honestly, My average roll over extended periods is no better than a random shooter, The advantage is betting on the number that comes up the highest percentage of times CONSISTENTLY.
You are absolutely right. The majority of the dealers I know here in Vegas are themselves degenerate gamblers, and they've tried EVERYTHING there is to try, and none of them has ever been able to consistently win. And none of them has ever seen anyone else do it, either.
@@LoveToRelax Well notice the only game where the player can have an advantage over the house is card counting in blackjack. Casinos do their best to find these players since they require odd betting and plays at times. So yeah if there was some method to produce the same dice results with every throw you can bet your ass craps would also be removed or changed massively.
Love Craps. First time I played was in OSheas on the strip when I was over from UK for my 40th. I didn’t have a clue what I was doing but the stick men were great and I played for hours and got smashed and walked away about $200 up thinking I was the bomb
My first time playing was at a casino on the coast of Oregon called Chinook Winds. I was in my early 20s and had a labor job where I was supposed to help set up for a concert. There was heavy snow (VERY uncharacteristic of the Oregon coast!) so things were delayed. I had a few bucks and the other guy who was there with me taught me how to play craps. I ended up winning 35 dollars and proceeded to get hopelessly hooked on gambling and ended up crushing myself repeatedly. I would bring all my money to the casino and play blackjack until I had nothing left. Sometimes I would win and actually leave, but I normally ran out of money and struggled to pay for things I needed. Then I got into therapy and after quite some time of working on my mental health, I began to learn ways to limit myself and to actually have willpower that I didn't know was possible. Now I have the freedom to not only play casino games, but to be able to stop. Even if I'm down. It started off so fun, but the dangers are genuinely real! I refuse to bring anyone to gamble for their first time, now. I don't want to be the reason someone hurts themselves. 🤮 It's crazy fun to gamble, but it can become a pit that's hard to climb out of!
Casinos love these stories. More geniuses going to the casinos to try out their new skills. Dice shooters, card counters, slot professionals, sports book experts, roulette systems. Yes, please come and try to beat the math. Maybe you'll get a comp in the coffee shop.😂 If you're really lucky they might send you offers for free plays, free food, and comped rooms.
Dice requires and inhuman level of precision - that apparently some people can manage. Card counting is something anyone can be taught to do, and any casino can _instantly_ defeat - just shuffle the damned deck more often. Slots require inside knowledge / access - rig the machine or know precisely how it works (computers can't do random.) Sports betting... needs a fixer. Roulette is hard to predict, but with enough results, patterns do emerge. (humans are bad at random, too. how the dealer tosses the ball doesn't change that much.) Getting any of this in your favor is highly unlikely. The exceedingly few who pull it off are how we get TV shows like this. :-)
We watched a guy with a clipboard taking notes on the horse racing game. He was very committed but could have spent his time better panning for gold at Hoover Dam.
@@jfbeamRegarding roulette, you were right when you said humans are bad at random. (They’re also bad at probability, estimating, understanding and calculating odds, critical thinking, I’ll just stop there…) I mean, I guess that given enough information patterns do emerge, but what that really means is: the human mind looks for patterns in chaos and once you get enough data, you can finally ascribe some type of pattern to that which is random. The other option is the wheel has a bias- which is not common at all, and takes a massive amount of tracking to determine.
Idk about that. I saw a couple of guys who were busted using some kind of computer at the roulette table. Found out later It would measure the speed of the wheel and also the speed at which the croupier threw the ball and then transmit a signal to a wristwatch to tell them which quadrant of the wheel to bet on. It wasn’t perfect but it gave them a significant edge. Anyway when security came up and escorted these guys away they did NOT look happy. The casino can and routinely does scan for Bluetooth (amongst other things). That’s how the guy with the computer transmitted the signal to the guy with the wristwatch. Like I said I don’t know all the details but these guys were definitely winning. You can look it up. The computer is illegal in Nevada but not other states.
Yeah that felt a little cheesy but I guess it depends on the table minimum and what was in play at the time… If this was 2003 I am sure it was $5 or $10 table, so $100 on a hop might not be a huge amount of money, but it is kind of a stupid roll when he could have as easily gone for the safer regular hard way bet? I don’t know… I am grasping at straws.
I went to Vegas in 2008 to go play a 1000 Tournament in the WSOP> MY hotel and flights were paid for, I had 5 K cash to pay the entry and the rest of it to gamble and eat for 7 days. . by second day in , I had already busted out of the tournament and lost my entire bank roll except 500 USD> I went to the craps table for my first time and watched for a bit. I bet and turned my bets off and on a bunch of times. I managed to get my 5 k back no lies. For the next five days I didn't gamble once I ate at the best restaurants saw the best shows and enjoyed my vacation. Came home broke but it was an amazing trip. Blew 5 k in 5 days enjoying my life. I figured since I won all my money back that I lost I might as well enjoy myself.
Craps has saved my Vegas vacations a few times. When poker goes bad, craps can wake you up. There is nothing like downtown Vegas for craps in the whole world.
That's cool. My only trip to Vegas was a win. I was pretty overwhelmed by all the tables, and didn't really do anything but walk right up to the sports betting window. I put $150 on a Monday Night Football game and won. It made me so mad that they close on Monday night, so I had to cash in the next day. 1 for 1, suckahs!!! lol
@@publiusvalerius8934 1/1 means you should run! Unless you have a crazy strat that no one has thought of, stay away. Ivey and his edge sorting is a classic... That dude is a genius. Once at a Vegas casino, a woman was rolling craps for several throws. At one point from across the table a guy tosses to her a hundred dollar chip. The woman was baffled, asking why this was tossed to her. The smiling dealer simply tells her, "That's a thank you; you just made that guy a lot o' money..."
Awhile ago I was shooting and rolled a 12 the guy next to me asked me if I could roll another, I said that I would try to. well He was betting $50 each roll on the 12 and I rolled another about 4 rolls later & He tossed a $100 chip to me. I love it when shooters show up with thousands of dollars.
I've seen people throw down thousands on all kinds of crazy bets and not once did the stick man say "you're kidding right?" There are too many variables for someone to consistently win at craps. Even if you're able to roll well, practice, slide the dice, cheat it will only increase your odds by a small margin. Other factors will impact the outcome of the rolls, hitting someones hand, chips on the table, etc. This story is wishful thinking. Having said all that, craps gives you a better chance than most games. It's a lot of fun when a table is winning and everyone is rooting for the same result.
So true. No dealer would ever question a legal bet. When I was a young dealer, I was playing at another casino (I was dealing at AC Caesars and playing at the Trop). I was up $12,000 on a crazy aggressive don't system. The seasoned Trop dealer leaned down and said, and I quote, "Kid, you're going to have one more win then you get the f**k out of here and go to the cage." He was looking out for me and I did as he told me. As a dealer, I've also done this a handful of times to help winning young players who think they're on a streak. some have listened, others not. I suppose the casino wouldn't like this but if it's a nice kid, I try to help him out.
@@adamhutton4165how far back? AC has changed. I use to frequent the the *revel* for my rooms, but always played at the trop. That was my spot. Rebel closed down around the time half the casinos in ac closed down. 2.4 billion in debt
@@adamhutton4165 - A dealer would possibly say 'you're kidding, right?' if a player was making optimal bets for hours and then suddenly threw $100 on a hop bet.
FYI, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas ran tests where they built a perfect throwing robot. They used casino rules where the dice must hit the backwall. They found even with machine perfect repetitive throwing, if you hit the back wall you still get completely random outcomes
There are basketball shooting robots too, but doesn't mean they are better than Stephen Curry. There are variables that are difficult to account for during a live game which can make a robot less successful than a person who has perfected their craft.
@@smiles9187 yes but the entire premise of dice control is based on the idea that you can achieve non random outcomes while hitting the alligator backing. They showed that right now the data says you cant
yeah you'd somehow have to hit the same spot on the wall every time with the same momentum, angle, etc. and the smallest bit of airflow change from 1 throw to the next could be enough to fuck it up or anything else. pretty sure if they could create a perfect vacuum space where no variance existed a machine could do it. but even with machines there can be miniscule (but effective) variance.
You should do a video about Don Johnson. His story is really fun. He took advantage of casinos really needing money and was able to convince them to use a ruleset that he created. He ended up having a 2% edge, which is more than enough when you're betting 100k+ a hand! He ended up getting something like 15m in basically no time at all. There's already a full documentary about the dude, but you need content and that man definitely provides it!
Absolutely poetic story. Dude saw that the casinos were down on their luck after the 2008 crisis and used the casino's hope of a big score to dupe them of their money using mathematically-backed methods that guaranteed returns given enough time. Literally turned the tables on em
I'm a former casino dealer in Las Vegas. Believe me when I tell you... if anyone EVER figures out how to consistently beat any casino game, they'll simply remove the game, and you'll never see it again.
@user-gx2yy1df6f No, I've never seen it happen. As a matter of fact, I was working one night at the Golden Gate when a couple of young guys got really lucky a few times in a row and ended up with $125k. They asked the shift boss if they could put it all on black (they'd had a few too many beers)... of course, he was all too happy to let them. They lost. lol. Someone managed to sneak a couple of pictures, and the casino ended up framing them and putting it up on the wall. The last time I was there, about a year ago, it was still hanging on the wall near the roulette tables.
@@LoveToRelax thanks for getting back to me , what's your opinion on this ? i play 2nd and 3rd dozen plus cover 0/00/2 i have 27 slots, house only has 11 .
@user-gx2yy1df6f hmmm... I like it. If you're interested, I have a friend who owns the largest casino dealer school in Vegas. They have a youtube channel in the quest to find the perfect strategy to crush roulette. Do a search for 'CEG Dealer School roulette'... they work through a zillion different strategies, and if you want to recommend yours, they'll test it out for you. Good Luck!
I've had great runs, thinking I have the touch, but what goes around comes around. Enjoy a streak while it lasts and leave when the dice get cold, because you won't stay hot forever.
If you believe you can roll what you want I've got an even better system to sell you. Make sure you order my "too dumb to have money" guide that's right up your alley.
I've seen it done before, I was too young and new to the game to understand how to take advantage of it. Early 2000s at Caesar's in AC, random local walks in, stands at the spot closest to center, then rolls multiple hard 4s, he was able to hit the spot right below the alligator pyramids, there's a tiny bevel below it. you can see it in the video. Guy hit multiple hard 4 bets, won a ton, and left the table on the 7 out and won the don't pass.
I've got what I hope is a funny story about Caesar's in AC. I was playing Blackjack there decades ago. This is before I quit Blackjack and discovered Baccarat. Anyway, I was playing a hand for $100. The dealer turned up an Ace. He then glanced at his hole card, made a move like he was going to expose it (that he had the Blackjack), then 'caught himself' and said 'Insurance?' I was the only one at the table who fell for it - I put my $50 Insurance bet out there. He then checked his hole card (again), swept up my Insurance bet and put it in his rack. That little slick move, which the dealer had obviously practiced at home, cost Caesar's my business for ten years because that's how long it was before I went back in there.
My ultimate question regarding dice control/influencing is: • If the first & primary goal of the dice control throw is to maintain the same axis, then what’s the difference between the dice going off axis after hitting the table/back wall verses shortly after leaving the shooter’s hand? Answer: There is no difference. It’s a random roll regardless of WHEN they go off axis. I believe dice control is theoretically possible, but there are too many variables for it to actually happen. The question above encapsulates why a shooter can’t have the dice flip, twist and turn in virtually countless ways after hitting the table, yet it’s somehow a controlled roll because the toss was on axis. Somehow the roll counts toward their “seven ratio” as if the dice were supposed to do all that. The dice have changed axis multiple times before coming to a rest, none of which was intended by the shooter.
@@notexactlyrocketscience So you’re saying that maintaining the axis is not the first & primary goal of a controlled dice throw? Then please tell me what is.
@@notexactlyrocketscience really? Have you ever seen slow motion video of dice hitting the back wall? They explode in random ways, twist, spin, flip, roll, bounce, etc. How the dice react is impossible to predict. Therefore, nothing they do after that point can be intentional. Period. Otherwise, the shooter is thinking what? …something like, “I want the dice to hit the back wall spike at 3.2 micrometers left of center dice on the six pip side, do a four and half spins and two twists, then roll eight times”? ….really?
Jerry Patterson started all this introducing Chris and his method for a reasonable price vs Scoblete & self named Dominator who charged exorbitant money for their Golden Touch craps
This sure brings back some memories! Back in the day I was a student of Jerry Patterson and signed up for the dice mastery class with Chris Pawlicki. Chris taught us his method in a closed Vegas dealer school and went out with the students in the evening to show us some live action. I can tell you that Chris was the real deal. The last day, on my way to the airport, I stopped by a casino with a few other students and an elderly gentleman who was part of our group held the dice for at least 45 minutes straight. I sure hated having to leave that game; he was still going strong when I left to catch my flight.
I have a book written by Frank Scoblete, written before the time discussed in this video. I've watched people "stack" the dice thinking they had some kind of control over the outcome, for years. It has always been my wish to watch someone with a golden arm (referring to the wall of awards in the walkway to Main Street Station) ply their craft. Actually, it's always been my wish to be sitting on that table placing bets when that happened! Great video - love all of them. Zk
Once it hits the diamond backing on the back of the table…it’s random. No Matter what you think. That’s why dealers will require you to hit the back of the table.
Sorry but this video proves you are wrong. Notice how the 6-1 pips stay on axis even after hitting the back wall. ua-cam.com/video/a9I8UH5Xcro/v-deo.htmlsi=LJlUHkkSqqanh3r1
It sounds like a pyramid scheme to me. Several groups pay entry. They attend a casino (splitting their winnings). Statistically a proportion of the groups end up in profit (allegedly proving the scheme). Owner takes a cut. Most groups make a loss. This is explained away by 'you didn't do it right', or 'just bad luck, we'll get them next time'. Just like all pyramid schemes, success is flaunted and bad luck hushed up or put down to not working hard enough. And this video is just carefully chosen examples. I could show you me winning, and not mention the times I lost. It proves nothing.
Even before that. The average Casino Craps table is 12 feet long. That is a distance, which you do not get to cover without sufficient velocity. This alone has the dices bouncing like crazy. When you look at many "controlled" shots in slow-mo, you'll see that they are not controlled at all. They bounce all over the place.
What’s crazy is 27k is like 50k but 10k in 1970 is when the law was wrote for irs to check you on that but the values went up but the amount still the same in the law
I only set the dice to convince the tourists I'm trying to make the point. Secretly, I've been betting the Don't Come and loading up the back line plus odds. When I make the point I put the dealers on Big Red for the come out roll. Sometimes it works. But I always root for the point even though most of my money is on the dark side.
If you are a consistent winner at any game….Once casinos get to know you ,they can easily just bar you from playing…….Then you’ll need to start wearing disguises….?..if you keep a low profile and don’t win too much at a time, you’ll be invisible to the casinos…..While at the same time making a killing…..
Gotta love someone taking advantage of a system that takes advantage of others. It's insane how he was not even subtly threatened for his life taking from the casinos at their own game. Greed is real and has gotten many people hurt, still to this day. I'm genuinely surprised he is still alive and gambling with this method to this day
Oh yeah? You know a lot of people who've been murdered by casinos for winning too much? Is it possible your entire understanding of this issue is based on goofy mass media products that aren't related to reality? Wouldn't that be more plausible?
He isn't. He is selling books and courses based on a fairy tale. "Dice control" is bullshit and has been throughly debunked whenever it was put to any serious test.
I set the dice. But I'm not good at it. I know that if I keep the dice on one axis and take away two sides, you get a huge advantage. Saying that, it's really hard. The dice have edges. The tables are bouncy. Many people have mentioned the gators on the walls of the table. To beat those gators, you don't want to bounce off them, but only have the dice die touching them. It's like a long put that falls into the hole with the last half of a revolution. Every once in a while I'll have a perfect throw where the dice are on one axis, bounce once, and come to rest touching the edge of the table. Maybe with 100's of hours of practice, you could make money consistently.
The word you're looking for is 'putt'. And let's keep everyone on the same page regarding possibilities. It would be best if everyone thought that there is no way for the dice to be influenced. Thank you.
They forget about the diamond wall… and the fact that dice now are sharp as a blade and when they hit the felt they grip into it and jump to any random place not always forward
I have a friend who works in the casino industry. Dice controllers don’t exist with any regular occurrence. Sure some people get hot but you can’t call out your roll and be right. The casino would have and have every legal right to tell you to back off. I’ve heard them tell people “you’re just too lucky for us tonight and we’d like you to leave.” Or the even better line of “your action is too hot for us tonight. We like to invite you to leave.”
Dude there is hugh difference between calling the winning number and swinging craps from small disadvantage to small advantage. We all know calling the number is bullshwet but gaining small advantage is maybe territory
I know everyone is saying that dice control is BS but I watched a guy do this in Vegas. It was at the former Joker’s Wild in Henderson. It was obviously not fool proof but he would go on a tear every single time he was the shooter.
If you can beat a game with skill or your brain it should be illegal for an licensed casino to back you off. They can take all of the money you have to your name but they dont allow a person todo the opposite which is bullshit.
It's 'a' licensed casino. Having someone able to consistently beat a casino game would be like a bucket with a hole in the bottom. No casino is going to allow their profits to steadily drain out of that hole.
Any business can refuse service to anyone they want as long as they aren't discriminating against a protected class. The offer games of chance. You are not playing according to chance.
I've been playing craps 25 years and love the game but don't believe what this guy is claiming, the longest role I've ever seen was at Bellagio a young man throwing the dice randomly won 50, 000. .40mins
I really enjoy this content, it's your great narrating skill that draws me into the true story you are telling. Can't wait for your next one and thank you for all the hard work that goes into making your content so we all can be entertained by it :).
Dice control is possible but with a caveat. Most tables these days are very bouncy which causes the dice to be completely random when they hit the back wall and ricochet. I know because there were two casinos that I played at in Atlantic City that I used to routinely beat. The stickmen would do all sorts of things to distract me. Then a few years ago, they got rid of those tables and replaced them with bouncier ones. Why would they get rid of those tables if it were completely random?
I don't understand why the dealers would try to distract you. When you're winning, you tip generously. They don't have a dog in the fight, and it is in their best interest if the players win.
Sadly, these vids are just repackaged rip-offs of the Breaking Vegas series from the History Channel. They are, at least, well edited and commercial-free.
@@Up2Me-h2z no, actually most industries provide a valuable service or product that usually involves honesty and integrity. Casinos simply steal your money and blacklist you if you make the "gambling" fair. BIG DIFFERENCE
FYI - This is complete bullshit. Almost none of this happened. I've been an AC craps dealer for 42 years. We have "dice controllers" come in all the time. Most of them have paid some loser $3,500 for a weekend course. So they start to shoot and they don't hit the back wall - which is full of diamond shapes to randomize the dice throw. "Sir, Please hit the back wall or we will pass the dice to the next shooter." He is short of the back wall again. "Sir, Please hit the back wall or we will pass the dice to the next shooter. This is your last chance and your last throw if you don't hit the back wall." He is short of the back wall again. Dice get passed. I've pulled dice from "dice controllers" 10,000 times. They get a whopping 2 or 3 rolls. Plus it's 99% garbage anyways. We just like to be in control and make the shooters hit the back wall.
You're exactly right, Adam. I learned to set the dice with a perfect throw and hit five hard ways in a row at Borgata before the floor told me to cut it out cause I was sticking the landing each time a foot away from the wall! LOL. But I would ask, what's your opinion on hot shooter mojo? I only pull out the big bets when I feel that energy at the table - it's very very rare cause there is usually zero positive energy at a craps table. Just cause it's drunk and noisy doesn't mean it's positive energy. Cause most people are there expecting to lose. I've made waaaay more money playing craps than I've lost over the decades. Only recently have my poker cash game winnings surpassed by craps winnings. I live 12 minutes from a big casino. I love craps but I've only played maybe twenty times in the last seven years cause I live in the poker room and few people I know play craps. But my data set is rather large on this subject. I keep records of everything although Microsuck chewed up my spreadsheet files back in 2006. I'm sure I have the original index card records in a box somewhere but where? LOL. Anyway, I'm curious about your opinion as an AC craps dealer for 42 years. I've seen shooters go into a trance and shoot the lights out. I've done it myself where I feel like I went to sleep while I was shooting and when I finally sevened out and "woke up", there would be sandcastles of bets covering all the numbers on the entire table. Many times I've witnessed the floor make strange attempts to snap a hot shooter out of their "spell" or randomly interrupt the flow of the game when it gets hot. Why would they do this if they know they have the mathematical edge and the dice cannot be controlled? Your thoughts?
@@CribNotes Good thoughts Crib. Ive been told to write a book about craps as I've seen every scenario imaginable. Buy ins of $10 million many times. fights. 300 pound men crying. Wives pulling knives on their loser husbands. Threats. Accusations of loaded dice (common). Capping $1,000 bets. Don't players attacked by right way players. Crazy crazy stuff. There's just a few things you need to know: The 7 is just one roll away and is the most common number. Playing against the 7 is a fools move in a fools game. Yes, there are "hot" shooters but it's just a mirage. They eventually 7 out. Many many times I see people press, press, press, press and take no money off table. Just last month, I saw a guy press $100 bets to table max of $5,000. I asked if he ever took money off the table. He said "I'm down so much I've go to take all the risk I can." The thing was he was winning very very big and had $30,000 on the table after starting bets of $600. The next roll? You guessed it. A 5-2 7 out. He walked off without a word. I still play in my downtime. How does a seasoned dealer play? I lay bet entire back wall on come out. That's laying all 6 numbers to lose. I leave it up and never take it down (remember 7 is one roll away). After 2 knock offs of my back wall bets, I run continuous flat don't come bets at double the amount of my back wall lay bet. So if I lay $150 on back wall, I run $300 DC bets flat no odds. I win 87% of time about 20 to 50% of my bankroll then take a break. I've hit SEVEN 7s on the come out roll. I've hit 5 point 7 outs in a roll. It's the only way to play IMHO.
Ive seen someone that can do this. He was shooting and calling out his roll quietly for those of us on his side of the table. I didnt believe him and ignored his calls at first. After a few, i started betting with him. He went a few more times, making money for everyone. It went on until he slipped on a roll and got a 7. Dice control is real and possible, just very difficult.
We're going to forget you said that. We wouldn't want anyone spoiling someone's good fortune by changing the game, like they did to Blackjack once the counters showed up.
@@miker6402 They spend some more time adjusting the dice to the right sides, as well as making sure the angle and power in the throw is correct; more hesitant people will take even longer, which will probably be most people when there's real money on the line. And all that for them to not be skilled enough to actually avoid a 7 would probably make the game more tedious for no reason overall.
@@alphacupcake7408 let me ask you this, I've seen the game played when the table is so crowded that after every roll it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to pay everybody out and then have people place more bets. Then when the guy picked up the dice to throw them, whatever he was doing with them, I don't know if he was setting dice or if he had a good luck routine where he was tapping them on the table or rubbing them in a circle, or whatever he did, it seemed like it took him 10 seconds. So are you saying that if he threw the dice 10 times and it took him 10 seconds each time to throw the dice he would waste 1 minute and forty seconds, whereas, the 3 to 5 minutes to payout out a full table and then take more bets after each of the 10 rolls, people really get annoyed/bothered by the lucky guy rolling the dice and doing his routine that is actually helping the table win money, that's what people say makes the game go slower? And not the time it takes to pay a full/overcrowded table?
I had friends who enrolled in the "Golden Touch" classes in Vegas. I played at 2 craps tables where "Sharpshooter" made an appearance to shoot dice. Both times he threw point-7. Both times he left quickly. I was not impressed. 😂
Any player can be told we don’t want your action or asked to leave for ‘almost’ any reason. Just don’t cheat! You will be arrested and probably go to prison.
The dice have to hit the far wall or the box man will call no roll. You can't slide them. You might get away with it for one or two rolls, but not more. I saw a box man threaten to take the dice from an old woman who was doing this inadvertently and at low stakes.
Ive heard numerous stories about the casino being concerned, so they switch the stickman. Yah, it couldnt be that they rotate them every 15-20 minutes, and give them actual breaks...like is in their contract...no no, when they start to lose money they send in the' special stickmen who ends all rolls' ie- bullshit. Ive had plenty of long rolls, when I attempt to influence the dice (control is too strong a word). did it work? maybe- its all about avoiding the 7 at all costs, not necessarily hitting one number or the point. Dice setting doesnt cost you anything, if you think it gives you an edge- go for it, the casino loves people who play systems- because like anyone else- most of the time youre going to lose.
Theoretically the math is sound. Unfortunately most people cannot master this. A lot of people practice at home with a practice rig, read the books, even take a class or two. But when they come to the tables in a casino their SSR is unfortunately almost like any other random shooter and they lose their ass. Yes you will have that top 1% that can actually master this and master the muscle memory like a machine that is necessary to keep this up. But most cannot. That story three below me by the dude? Sounds like he got lucky. I hear Casinos love people who think they can control the dice. If they hit the alligator wall in the back, it simply turns to pure luck. If they dont always hit the wall in the back or get it to a point where they hit the table right in front of the wall and have the cubes lightly graze the wall (as one of the dice controller books suggest you do so that you can say, "I hit the wall, see?") The pit boss will inform you that you must hit the wall everytime and with more force. The dice must hit the back wall. So interesting vid tho.
You can't control dice once they leave your hands, you have no control when the points and corners bounce...your either extremely lucky or the dice are fixed because if it can be learned?no one would go to...WORK
Casinos taking your money: “Hey man, you played the game, that’s how it goes.” 👍🏻 You taking Casino’s money: “We’re going to need you to step outside.” 😤
Craps tables are not uniform or consistent, even in the same casinos. Some have harder surfaces, some are a bit taller or shorter, and they all have "alligator" backing that bounces the dice randomly every time.
TBH, I think in general casinos are by far the most odd business to have been created. Strip the game elements and it’s basically, “hey let’s go take some money and have it decided if I get more or taken from me no questions asked” just like slots, strip the glitzy shit, if it was a dude that just held his palm out and decided who won based upon when they put the loot in his hand that’s a slot machine. Random. But not. Since I literally average about the same cycle as everyone else with more loses than wins of course etc…
This story is quite true. My code name is El Sid and I've trained with Sharpshooter and played with Dominator back in the late 90's and early 2000s. This story describes a learned skill. It's analogous to a pitcher on the pitcher's mound in the bottom of the ninth with the based loaded. Who do you want on the mound, Roger Clemons or a rookie just out of Triple A? And why? Because of muscle mechanics. We've practiced 10,000 throws and have the ability to throw a strike on any pitch. Dom's greatest enemy at the table was his ability to control his temper. We would train and practice with Frank Scoblette, Jerry Patterson, Sharpshooter, and The Sage, Walt Diem. We were all the best shooters I've ever seen.
I THINK YOUR FULL OF SHITT, FUKING MUSCLE CONTROL? THE ONLY MUSCLE CONTROL YOU NEED IS TO HOLD IN ALL THAT BUILT UP CRAP YOUR PACKING AROUND.....1O,000,000,OOO,000,000 THROWS WOULD'NT TELL YOU ANY THING.......WAKE UP DIPSTICK !
I'm sorry. I don't know who David Blaine was talking about. But I do know Dom. I wasn't part of the Rosebud team ( I was too young, in my 30's) as I didn't have the disposable income at the time. But I was an instructor for Jerry Patterson. It's true, there was a rift between Dom and Jerry. Dom was a very good shooter, but so was I. Today you can still find me at the Borgata hanging at the Lobby Bar with Shawn, the greatest bartender in the place.
Great video. Subscribed and will check out the other videos. If you haven’t done it already, there’s a book called Loaded Dice about John Soares who was a member of a crew in the 60s who would swap loaded dice into craps games in Vegas among other scams. Really fascinating.

But, hey it's your money to lose not mine. Just let me know what table you are going to try this at and what time so I can video it to remind you not to believe b.s. like this.
@@TILT223 The odds of blackjack are always stacked against a non-counting player no matter how many decks. More decks increase the house advantage, all else equal, but not enough to overcome accurate card counting with a well-designed bet spread. Most card counters make their money on 6- to 8-deck shoe games, because those account for by far the majority of beatable games available in the US market.

Of course they aren't concerned, it's there to draw in the suckers. A real, physical wheel in theory could have a bias that makes certain numbers appear more often (its rare though, casinos can spot and fix/replace this if it happens) but a virtual wheel online? No.
This video is spot on. I have a cheap set up at home, but it's materials are comparable to a real table. The video throw technique is correct, I peak the arch of the dice closet to the wall rather than midway. Almost like I'm deep bombing it's landing 12-18" before hitting. It doesn't hit too high on the wall after striking the pad, just a few inches. I hold the dice with 3 & 4 up, and 6 & 1 facing left & right. I use a hinge like arm throw from a side stance, rarely bending my elbow. I can hit 90-100 percent of no 7s on the first 4 rolls everytime, and sometimes up to 7 rolls or more. Beyond the 5th roll, statistics come against you. I haven't used this at a casino, as it's a real slow way to bank. Baccarat is my go to for a different advantage.
Back in my casino surveillance days, we loved when the rose bud team came in. We would make bets on how fast they would 7 out. They never won. In 2000 to 2002 a lot of the old card counters would come to the dice tables, use this control technique and get rekt. By the mid 2000s they gave it up because it was nonsense.

PSA. long time in the casino business here. been a dice dealer, manager, pit boss, backed off card counters etc etc. believe me when I tell you that the casinos LOVE players who think they can actually control the dice. the walls of the table are lined with what is called "the alligator". even if u learn to control the trajectory of the dice, once they hit the alligator its complete variance. no casino with integrity will allow a shooter to consistently not hit the wall, especially if they were winning.
The only time I lose is if
I am betting on other shooters, or if I bet on other numbers.
I miss Osheas. I’m pretty sure it’s not there anymore.

(humans are bad at random, too. how the dealer tosses the ball doesn't change that much.)
Getting any of this in your favor is highly unlikely.
You dont have to win every time you just have to take the house advantage awaybinnthe long run, you will come out ahead
That’s the end of the story😂 No stick would EVER say “you’re kidding, right?” To a $100 hard ten hop bet fwiw

My ultimate question regarding dice control/influencing is:
• If the first & primary goal of the dice control throw is to maintain the same axis, then what’s the difference between the dice going off axis after hitting the table/back wall verses shortly after leaving the shooter’s hand?
Answer: There is no difference. It’s a random roll regardless of WHEN they go off axis.
I believe dice control is theoretically possible, but there are too many variables for it to actually happen. The question above encapsulates why a shooter can’t have the dice flip, twist and turn in virtually countless ways after hitting the table, yet it’s somehow a controlled roll because the toss was on axis. Somehow the roll counts toward their “seven ratio” as if the dice were supposed to do all that. The dice have changed axis multiple times before coming to a rest, none of which was intended by the shooter.

They explode in random ways, twist, spin, flip, roll, bounce, etc. How the dice react is impossible to predict. Therefore, nothing they do after that point can be intentional. Period.
Thank you.

Kind words, appreciate it. Just doing best we can!
I know everyone is saying that dice control is BS but I watched a guy do this in Vegas. It was at the former Joker’s Wild in Henderson. It was obviously not fool proof but he would go on a tear every single time he was the shooter.
How much did he win?
If you can beat a game with skill or your brain it should be illegal for an licensed casino to back you off. They can take all of the money you have to your name but they dont allow a person todo the opposite which is bullshit.
It's 'a' licensed casino. Having someone able to consistently beat a casino game would be like a bucket with a hole in the bottom. No casino is going to allow their profits to steadily drain out of that hole.

Yeah, most new tables are 14 feet, too, instead of the old 12.
I don't understand why the dealers would try to distract you. When you're winning, you tip generously. They don't have a dog in the fight, and it is in their best interest if the players win.

My first time, I called 8 rolls in a row. Spoke them out loud too. The workers were blown away.

Thanks to this guy everyone thinks they can "control the dice" and slows the game down so much, it's so annoying
Oh you poor thing. Your gambling takes too long? Poor baby.
Just curious, how does it slow the game down?

No matter how you bet, it has to go your way
Any player can be told we don’t want your action or asked to leave for ‘almost’ any reason.
I've had stickmen who purposely whip the stick just as you're throwing to get you off a long winning streak.
I doubt if even 1 % of craps players couldn’t even come close to using dice sets to beat the game….
4:10 Get rich playing dice: 👎🏻
Get rich selling books about playing dice: 🤑

Which stories were the best to you? Keen to know.
Craps tables are not uniform or consistent, even in the same casinos. Some have harder surfaces, some are a bit taller or shorter, and they all have "alligator" backing that bounces the dice randomly every time.
You only need a small advantage to beat the game. You can't control the dice, but you can sway the advantage just enough to make a difference.
The goal here is to keep them thinking that it's a myth. That way, it won't end up like card-counting.

Could you apply this to other things?

Yeah, hop bets on a craps table are sucker bets for that mathematical reason.

The online roulette now displays the parts of the wheel the ball is landing on most often. They don't seem concerned.
