The only problem i have is that the stations are too short and because that only one cart can fit on the platform
Absolutely love your channel, you really show your passion for Lego. The retro videos bring me back to childhood! Keep it up!
Your support is much appreciated! Thank you!!
You and rr slugger are my favorite UA-camrs, every video is perfect please never change the quality of your videos.
Thanks so much! Slugger is a winner!
Kind of tame next to some of the other space lines but loved the fossil scanners, helmets, and comm screens
It had a chill vibe, unlike many of the sub themes surrounding it.
Def my top 3 favorite vintage theme! I would have loved these as a kid. I have almost all of these, just missing 3 of the sets! Found the Explorien Starship NIB for a surprisingly unheard of price and i had to get it
This theme is still surprisingly accessible for being nearly 30 years old!
It's interesting but the sets really do look like a 6 year old's MOC. It has charm though. Besides that base, that set looks pretty bad.
Totally! The creative, absurd vehicles were this theme’s strong suit. The base strayed too far from that and turned out a bit bland.
I was 12 at the time and I absolutely HATED this theme because of the mismatched aesthetic. 20 something years later, I LOVE this theme and I wish I could time cruise back to 1996 when it came out. I've purchased almost all of the sets now just before turning 40.
It’s still pretty widely panned, but I’m happy there are admirers out there. I loved it and still love it!
What an awesome nostalgic video! I had the same small set when I was little, the color trick blew my mind too!
Thank you! Making the sets fun for kids was the priority then, and it created some real magic!
I wish I was alive when these came out 😢
The 90s were wonderful times for LEGO, that's for sure.
Ahh, I almost forgot about this one! Now I actually remember that I had the chief on his space-roomba, lol! Once again excellent video, keep it up!
"Space Roomba" is such a better way to describe it that I'm now devastated. LOL.
@@keltondavisLEGO I'm sure you'll eventually review something else that fits this description - I'm looking forward to it... ;)
I can’t believe this channel has so few subscribers. The production quality and attention to detail is exceptional
Thank you! I'm 3 months in and loving it!
Maybe ad an additional car to use as motor-car. More bricks, but you can build very stable
Ultimately, that seems like the best option, but this works well for people with limited bricks.
Super video! My childhood!
The nostalgia is strong with this one!
Such quality videos, looking forward to what’s next!
Thank you! Great stuff coming!
That black backdrop lighting etc - You sir, are a genius 💥💥💥
Thank you! Deciding on the theming/aesthetic of each episode is one of my favorite parts of making these.
Great video, love looking at these old sets
Many more to come!
RRSlugger collab when?! Your video quality is so amazing, I enjoyed watching and listening! Also, I was watching the price info popups and i'm honestly surprised how cheap the used set info is. As someone who doesn't mind older sets that aren't 100% new pieces mint condition, this is very hopeful information.
As far as a Slugger collab, we’re in communication! I’ve got some ideas 💡. This was one of the easiest themes to get a hold of for one of these episodes. Great sets at reasonable prices even today!
Hello there! Amazing video, huge fan of your work. Any source of intro music?
Thank you! I actually wrote the intro music specifically for the video. Glad you enjoyed it!
@@keltondavisLEGO its amazing, suits LEGO space vibes. Very nostalgic Vibe. Keep up the great work!
This was amazing and so nostalgic. I had all of these sets and especially loved the giant space ship one. Great watch
Lucky kid! I only had 2 of the smaller ones, but loved them all the same! Thanks for watching. 🙏
Wow! The most comments I have seen. Great video as usual. Your story telling combined with the technical information is so good.
Thanks, Karen! Happy to see you watching.
A classic as always Kelton , I might need to explore some of these vintage sets !
Thank you! As vintage Lego goes, most of these are pretty affordable to pick up 👍
Had Johnny thunder jungle the car/truck legendary set’s didn’t even need licensing just imagination
Absolute classics. Jungle is coming soon!
Would love to see the mars theme from the early 2000s, all the iconic white and orange ships and transparent green aliens!
Loved that theme!
american rr slugger
My 1st set!
What a great intro to LEGO!
I never had these but I think my best friend had the large fort. It was always so cool at his house
Fort Legoredo was the dream of so many 90s children.
These are cool sets but I never owned one unfortunately. Can’t wait until the 1998 ninja sets video
Ninja > Ninjago.
I think my sister had the whirling time warped, may have been me. Those skulls are fixed in my memory
They were what made me fall in love with the set as a kid!
Cool, I had the nebula outpost as a kid. I didn’t know about the other sets as my Lego collection was a real mish mash of theams
If you’re gonna have one, that’s a good one to have!
10:52 heart-pounding action? You nyst br really immersed in your play
You bet I was! 😂
Now then, if only we could get that Lego Western Part II Native American Sets video. Oh, and when you do that, make sure to mention the misprinted Big Chief Rattlesnake Torso, which has the turquoise and red patterns swapped. It’s great for custom Native American minifigs, (I should know, I own one).
Great suggestions! That’s definitely one I need to get back to. 😆
Another fantastic upload! Amazing video my man! :D
Thank you so much! 😊
as i have previously mentioned i love this video and series, but would love to see star wars, batman, and spiderman
Retro Star Wars is in the works!
Love the video man, i somehow had 1 minifig. from this line in my lego stuff as a kid. I always thought the visor is sick :)
I love the random artifacts from sets past, with no clue how they got there 😂
I love the Exploriens theme, characters, and setting! I’m personally not a huge fan of most of the sets themselves, but there’s simply no denying how amazing the Exploriens Starship is; it certainly ranks up there with the greatest LEGO Spaceships of all time, in my opinion! 😊
I was thoroughly converted to the Starship by this video. What a winner!
Wow, I didn't know much about this theme. You did a great job showcasing it! Looking forward to the next vid!
Glad I could introduce you! That’s part of the joy of making this series 😊
I have all the smaller ones, not the 2 big ones. I never called the big ship ugly due to jealousy xD ... I just wanted the base more than it and I already had the best spaceship ever made - the ice planet one, I never had a proper starbase. Never got them (there are always just so many occasions you can ask your parents for huge expensive stuff) but looking at them now, I still want the base more than the big ship. 2 of them to be exact to enclose it. Lovely series! If not for the aliens, this might have been my second favorite one, after Ice planet of course.
The base is awesome 👏 😎
Never had any of these sets, but these look pretty good
The 90s contain many great treasures!
Another banger of a video.
Thank you! Seriously so much fun 🤩
Oh god the quality of your videos… don’t ever stop this please 🥰
Haha! No plan on stopping! Thank you 🙏
Loving this! Hope eventually you cover the UFO series and the future Adventurers sets :)
Both are in the plans!
@@keltondavisLEGO oh also! since you seem to be a fan of the gimmicks (I know you're probably getting flooded with recommendations atm), but the lego moviemaker sets were influential to me becoming a filmmaker, and I loved the way each set had its own "on set" gimmick, like the exploding bank. just another wonderful series
@@PeterBrensinger LEGO studios kept me out of my dark ages for several more years (my early teens). It got me into Brickfilming and, by extension, this channel!
@@keltondavisLEGO definitely! the lego moviemaking sets where what got me into filmmaking as well!
They're totally cannons. ;) I love the breakdown and am a little smug about the final ranking. My appreciation for the smaller sets has also grown since finally seeing and handling them!
Hey hey! Thanks for letting me film your collection. And yes, they’re cannons 😆
Coincidentally I just picked up the Hover Tron, Planetary Decoder, and Alien Fossilizer NiB with their original price stickers on them! Very fun builds.
The real question is: did you open them? 😆
Love this! I was always fascinated by the Exploriens theme, but I only ever got the Hovertron and the Planetary Decoder. Even though I spent a lot of time staring at pictures and scans of that hologram transmission sticker, I think this is probably the best look I've seen at it; the pictures really don't do it justice. And I'm fascinated by the tiny interior of the Explorien Starship. Thank you for such a great video!
What I like about these is that it still gives you some of the great play features in the smaller sets. But yes, that transmission sticker is amazing! 🤩
My favourite Lego space theme ever :) I was lucky to able to collect every single one set of this series.
Lucky! This is a fun one to get 100%, because it’s a manageable amount of sets 👍
@@keltondavisLEGO as a maniac of Exploriens, I just had to collect every single on of them with boxes and instructions. Hell, I was able to get MISB 1858 and MISB Nebula outpost. What fun did I have opening them :) It was much harder to collect every single set of Ice Planet 2002 series though, but I mamaged to do that as well. Now my focus is to collect every Spryrius set ever existed😅
@@Kociu91 impressive! Ice planet is a tricky one!
I thought about my favorites before I watched the video, and surprise, we had exactly the same order! Nice video :-)
Woot woot! You might be the first 😆
Amazing video! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much!
I have some of these robot minifigs! This theme feels to me like the space equivalent to Aquazone
In many ways, it was! I think this era was the peak of both Space and Aquazone.
Fantastic video, very high quality! I had a few of these as a kid as hand-me-downs from family members, but always found the red/blue fossil feature very cool. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! 🙏
