On Amazon I bought a boundless voyage titanium tripod chain and hook 🪝 setup. With a little doing the hook permanently attaches to the pathfinder bush pot bail. And the chain I added a titanium beaner. It also comes with a plate to put the tripod legs in but it’s faster to just lash the poles together with cordage to make a tripod. 👍🏻

Great video; informative, well shot, and well edited. Thanks! I have a 13’ Silpoly Superfly on the way to use with both my GE Superior hammock and WB Ridgerunner. Just out of curiosity, what length Superfly is this? I ordered 13’ for my Ridgerunner, but am concerned I won’t be able to get it buttoned down this well in bad weather mode when using a shorter gathered end hammock. Cheers and thanks!

Thanks for putting this out there. Question for you…did the silky blade seem brittle to you? I’ve heard word of broken blades. The extra speed pales in comparison to a broken blade….curious of your impression.

Seriously, I use the pathfinder skillet and eat out of it. Same with chili, soups, stews and pasta in a pot. I just eat out of whatever my cooking vessel is most of the time. Anyone who says they have seasoned stainless steel is eating mushrooms they harvested themselves without a guidebook 😂

I've packed silkys of various lengths for 10 years. Never had a problem with them coming open when I didn't want them to. I learned cabinet making from my grandpa who always used Japanese pull saws. The silky feels natural and intuitive to use. Guess it comes down to preference. Both saws are superior to just about any other folder on the market.

This stove is great if you want to pay $79 to boil water in a half hour. I’ve watched several reviews for these little nano firebox stoves; There are stoves that are only a little bit larger, also titanium and very lightweight that will not only boil water in 10 mins or less, but also have the ability to make a meal in a fry pan or pot in less than 30 mins. This little nano firebox retails at $79.00…, the only advantage is the tray it sits on. Other titanium portable stoves are about $34 - $40. I see no advantage to this stove at all. You can easily make a bottom tray for any portable stove.

Over 20k views, and 600 likes. Outrageous! People, upvote this video!! Thst trick with the elastic cord in the guylines is great! I personally attached a loop of it on all tarp tieouts where I use guylines. Doesn’t weight much and makes a world’s difference. Plus I was able to attach tensioners to them. So I peg things out and then tension it from the tarp. Much easier to adjust it this way instead of adjusting from the peg end of it - cuz it’s farther away. It’s good for my lazy ass and it saves me from a little extra wetness when pitching in the rain. Porch mode is the best! Protection AND a view. My most used setup with the Amok Draumr (perpendicular hammock) cuz on side is in my back and the other is what I look at all my time in the hammock.

Hint....Do Not Let the Trangia Burner Burn Off that Extra Fuel.. Put out the flame, allow to cool and dispense of unused fluid. It becomes to hot and dry and will destroy the interior cotton wrap that absorbs the alcohol fluid. Great burger roast....!! Cheers!

I need to clean it. It could be the fuel I'm burning. I use a denatured alcohol that is supposed to burn clean. I've used yellow heat in the past, but it is more toxic so I switched to denatured alcohol. The heat does burn cleaner though. You don't get that black smoke. Thanks for watching and commenting!
