Regarding Solo, I think he’s the son of the IT shadow. I think his dad pulled him out of school just before the rebellion and took him into the vault. Maybe died before getting into the vault. He had to trick Legacy into accepting Solo (a 10 year old boy) instead of the real Solo, a 30-something year old man. If my theory is correct, Legacy is not a very intelligent Ai. (But we know is IS an Ai from Adam Savage’s tour of the set posted last week on UA-cam) Also, there are clearly others living in Silo-17. It was they that cut Juliet’s rope in Ep1 of Se2. They’re the ones with the voyeur POV camera angles in the season so far. They that cut Juliet’s air line and grabbed (killed!?) Solo.

If you want a REALLY good match with Severance, give Counterpart a shot. It only ran two seasons, but great acting and a much better match than the others you mentioned. Lots of action, too.

I also think it’s possible that Beth didn’t even Know whether the child was his or Tim’s until much later, it’s very possible that at the time she blocked him, she might have just as well I thought it was his child, but that it might not be, which would explain why telling him that doesn’t solve the problem, it simply alerts him to the new one which is that she’s cheating, but it might still be his baby.

The problem with using Harmony’s offhand “5th Book” comment as evidence, is that she is SO OBSCENELY obsessed with Mark (I think she might even be going thru his trash… they just talk way too much about trash cans??) -- so, in this universe it makes perfect sense that she also knows Ricken has written 5 books. Presumably, they all arrive to Mark in one excited way or another, thus Harmony (be it by trash-digging, intercepting at the threshold, or breaking into Mark’s house while he’s gone) has seen these books.

The reason why I say this is because we already know hope is what that place is feeding on and to me, Donna is always trying to influence the events so that the outcome always gives people some sort of hope. As it is pointed out in the video, she always enters the scene as soon as the plot thickens and the other characters figure out little bits and pieces of the mistery. She doesnt DIRECTLY want to hurt people, she wants them not to lose hope and acts as a beacon of hope amongst the others. My theory is, Fromville will finally break Boyd once its revealed that Donna is actually an evil character that probably works for the Man in Yellow.

Dylan is a fantastic character brilliantly played by Zach Cherry. Is there another show with so many great characters. Virtually every character is interesting and engaging. Thank you for this fantastic series of videos.

I watched Severance when it first came out and have watched it again recently for the upcoming season. I would like to note that Dylan bit Milchik despite having the “strength of 2 men”. I think Dylan’s outie is an IT technician or just good with computers. Their outies seem to have the opposite personality or character traits of their innies. If he really does have 3 children, that may be the only reason he joined Lumin. For financial reasons only. He also forfeited his highly anticipated waffle party for the benefit of the group. Dylan was the least selfish of the MDR department.

The best way to squash the rebellion and maintain the staus quo would be to just allow people to leave and come back. Makes no sense why they just wouldn't let people leave and come back to tell everyone the the world is actually uninhabitable. Instead they do everything that ensures people don't trust them.

I saw a theory were all of rickon's freinds, maybe rickon himself, are all innies who have taken over their outties body. Which explains why they all act so weird. They act like literal children. If they were all severed employees their innie versions would only have a few years of memories, and thus the mentality of a child. Makes perfect sense to me. I think it is the main goal of the lumos company. They want everyone severed where thwir innie versons are 100% loyal to the company. Then flip a switch and they have full control of their outties lives also. It's about world domination.

I think Irv is lonely as well. Would make sense why Ms.Casey lied and said his outie was “popular”. That would make him feel good since he obviously has a deep need for connection that he’s not getting outside of lumon.

My theory is that the whole show is much more like "westworld" let's say... In a way that those "outies" are all just softwears and not real people, something like ai and that "inies" are on the way to "real out" and the real world we havent seen yet.. Or something like that, maybe everything is in mark's head/mind.. I dont think anything we've seen so far is real World, whatever's going on... Cause all we know about reality is this city where they all live, and they all are kinda wierd...

Cobel is running a completely different agenda from everyone else in the show. I think that's why she's so hard to pin down. Also, Mark seems to play an important role in her agenda. Until we find out what her agenda is we should watch her closely.
