Absolutely stunning results! Those 3D printed bits work flawlessly with the plastics. I’m shocked as well how easily you made this all look too! Well done!
Thank you very much! I'm dialing in my print settings. You can see layer lines in some of the parts because it's shot in 4K under intense light, but to the naked eye they are nearly invisible.
They say that Björn the Fell-Handed, the Space Wolves’ ancient Dreadnought, is suspended in beer instead of the standard fluid. I dunno if it’s true but it’s funny to think about
I wish I had seen this earlier, lol. I just started painting my first ever models and I am doing Space Wolves. I have always been a fan of the Chapter. But I guess I can always do more and better in the future. But still this has given me a few great pieces of information at ideas.
Beautiful work. You mention getting advise regarding colours etc. My understanding is that all priests (chaps, libs & techs) are part of the great wolfs company and are loaned out. As such, they should have logans great company markings
Not a stab or anything negative, I shoot for more true (maybe cold) gray, and while you did a fantastic job, I'm largely critiquing the GW way of grey (into baby/ powder blue). Good work, I want to use this bits to reinforce my wolves. Glad your trip was fun.
Between the two CP's, you got yourself a new army doing these challenges haha. Id guess when the new SW codex and minis drop we might see some more SW's on the channel? You really seem to love the Sons of Fenrus. Shoutout to Vallejo Sky Blue though! Iv gone through 2 and half bottles on the glow effects of my Necron army. Side note, I would've put the white on first before the thinned sky blue to blend the white and help sell the glow effect more. Then go in with a thinned white if needed to brighten the glow in small spots. I just love how vibrant sky blue is, not even a flourescent paint. Also loving those bits. Im patiently waiting for a salamanders/dragon themed set. I could use a new set of bits for a specific unit I havent added to my army yet.
Hi this is a wonderful video. Might try soemthing like this myself. What was the base box for these? im guessing it wasnt the standard Wolf Guard Terminators box.
It was the mono-build Terminators from the Leviathan launch box. You can get them in the Combat patrol, or the new starter set. Of course, the new, multi-part kit would work just fine as well!
On regular marines, yes! But on the terminators, because the "Crux Terminatus" is on the left shoulder pauldron, the right is painted the clan color with the wolf marking.
Another great video. For your ice weapons (and bases) Vellejo's new FX Frost would work really well. It gives a kind of icey sheen to the suface, hard to explain, but looks great. I picked mine up from Volks.
Can someone help me wih identifing shadow grey vallejo color that was mentioned in the video everything that i can find is sombre grey with numer 72048
That's it. My bottle is old, so it's in two languages. "Gris Sombra" and "Shadow Grey". It's likely they've just changed the english name. the numberis a match.
First Loving your wolves!!! Second I love the Grey Tide Bits, I too have them. I do have a question, what printer and resin are you using? I have an 8k resin that is very nearly constantly failing
I am using an anycubic mono 4K and saraytech fast grey resin. I'm still dialing in the settings and learning as I go. I'm getting odd print artifacts sometimes, and other things that are keeping the prints from being perfect.
Looks good. Definitely going to get some of these bits for my Anglo-Norse themed chapter. Do feel the need to point out Space Wolves aren't vikings but yea.
Pretty badass all of em... Looks like some wolves are next up for me. Thanks for the inspiration.

The extra effort in the poses really paid off 👌
Thanks!
Alright, you've got the best Space Wolves. This makes me want to start space wolves. But as a Heretic I'll have to make Skryers Dark Wolves
Love the terminators to bits... WOW..
Beautiful work, thank you for sharing the steps! I can't wait to use my grey tide studio bits on the Leviathan set for my Space Wolves
And I thought my Wolves were stupendous but these are far superior to what I could ever achieve. Thanks for showing.
They say that Björn the Fell-Handed, the Space Wolves’ ancient Dreadnought, is suspended in beer instead of the standard fluid. I dunno if it’s true but it’s funny to think about
I should make a redemptor version of Bjorn...
I could see it 🤣. Alcohol is a preservative isnt it? Maybe thats why he’s lasted so long
These guys are amazing. Definitely earned a sub for this one. Thanks for pointing me to it in your other Combat Patrol vid.

Glad I could help!
Oh man. Friday here we come. 🎉🎉🎉
Man those greytide studio bits are so beautiful! Wish I could show my kitbashed wolfguard terminators.

Oh, interesting! Does that mean the pauldron should be red instead of yellow? (or is it black with a white wolf emblem?)

It's definitely a matter of personal preference. I considered a classic grey, but couldn't pass up trying to crack GW's powder blue formula.
@@thehammerofwrath Absolutely personal preference, and again you did it fantastic. Keep up the good work and having fun with it.
oh this is going to be surely a great video!
And it was, it was a great video. Thanks
lonk to the seller of the parts for spacewolves :D
You can find them on my mini factory - greytide studio!

What do you use to hold the head's while painting? Because it looks so helpful.
I hot glue them to a spare bit of sprue. They come off with a simple twist!
@thehammerofwrath Since I into Warhammer and hobbies, this is a start.

Incredible
Thanks! I'm happy with how they turned out!
These are gorgeous mate
Thanks. Pretty happy with how they turned out. And the greytide bits make it easy.
Amazing again, but Shouldn’t the left shoulder pad be yellow and wolf head not the right?
On regular marines, yes! But on the terminators, because the "Crux Terminatus" is on the left shoulder pauldron, the right is painted the clan color with the wolf marking.
@@thehammerofwrath nice one dude! 👍🫶 keep up the top work!🔥💯

it's off to VOLKS I go!

love your videos specially the space wolves one what super glue do you recommend
I just use the little tubes from the dollar store! (get the thin kind. the gel can take a while to set, and isn't as all-around useful)
Pls do more space wolves!!!!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I've been bitten, so there's no turning back now!
Nice!!!
Say what you want about scale creep, the upscaled terminators and screamer killer are so good.
Any plans on character models like Ragnar ?
"all signs point to 'yes'."
The easiest way to remove liquid mask is with a small ball of bluetack. It just comes right off with not need to scratch at it with anything
Oh, wow! Definitely going to give that a try the next time I use it! Thanks!
hey tripp is shadow grey from vallejo no longer made i cant find it even online
it is in the game color range, double check that. it's possible that it has been discontinued, but unlikely, I think.
@@thehammerofwrath do you the number for the color chart and also is it ok to do the zenithol after the black with white then let it sit for a day
sorry, my label is faded and I can't read the number. And yes, you can white zenithal right after the black is dry.
It might be Sombre grey, kinda matches russ grey
❤

@@thehammerofwrath I have part of a dreadnought that looks like it was plasma cut in hale at an angle neat effect but a fail print
That makes good scatter terrain!
