Try adding a half drop of dishwasher rinse aid to your pinkish mixture. Will break even more surface tension allowing u to be faster and messier with the pin washing. Great job!
Great stuff as always. A tip I use when you can't pin is to use an old and smaller base and super glue the mini to it (with a small amount of glue) then you can just snap or cut the model of the base.
Not sure if you remember me! Still, its amazing to watch how you and the Channel grow and the Content you make is just amazing! Still love every second of it!
Looks great the only gripe i would have is the bent leg, i always thought the knee pad would be attached to shin not the thigh. Either lovong these series of videos
One of my definite favourite channels on youtube! Seriously do not understand why you do not have 100k subscribers or more by now... Keep the videos coming please!
@@thehammerofwrath oh yeah I know all the pain of white armour haha. My space marine chapter is half white / half black. There are few of them painted because of this exact reason. Hoping to have a combat patrol size force painted up finished soon!
Aw man!! I assume this was right before the Gundam attraction closed. l ever got my chance to go see it in 2022, and only got to see the frame being built back in 2019. Hopefully they just move it somewhere else ooorr someday finally figure out how to get one walking haha. Overall, great CP video! Iv never been a fan of the aelder aesthetic, except for a few of the drukari models. I didnt realize how old the aeldar mechs are, until I just went and looked them up after seeing how static that Wraith Lord is. Those definitely need a refresh sometime soon
Brand of compressor isn't that important so long as it has a tank built in. You want the compressor to fill the tank, and turn off automatically, turning on again only when the pressure falls below a certain level. This keeps things quiet and allows for a smooth flow of air. Compressors without tanks have to run constantly, causing noise, heat (which can change how the paint behaves) and "pulsing" in the flow of air creating uneven paint coverage.
I was using a mid tier Badger airbrush until it broke. Now I'm using a few low-end samples a company has sent me, but wouldn't recommend. If you are looking for an entry level brush, you don't need to spend more than $40 US. For a beginner, a low-end brush will be fine for base coating and zenithal highlighting. Just be sure to get a dual-action, gravity feed brush.
Haha, i got so caught up with the giant 8 story robot that i forgot what video i was watching. I was surprised when the topic switched to eldari
Shame it's gone now, but glad I saw it before it was decommissioned.
Rip Gundam, the elves looks really good:)
Kinda heartbroken that it's gone, really.
That is such a great take on the Saim-Hann Scheme. I love them!
Thanks! Black gradient turned out better than I'd hoped. Really grew on me.
I'll be visiting Tokyo in 2 weeks, so excited!
Be sure to visit the Warhammer cafe in Akihabara!

Looks amazing! I love the colour scheme
Well done!
Thanks!
Absolutely incredible work. Wow the bone work looks fantastic and the colour choices were so well done!
Thanks. The white was a pain in the butt, but it turned out to be worth the effort.

These look really nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
great results! looks like a funbox and the scheme turned out nice!
Thanks! Yeah, it was a nice change from Space Marines.
12:21 I love this method! May I ask the size of the drill you used for the hole?
I gotta try it when I'm building my next wraith-lord.
That was a... I wanna say, 1mm. But it will depend on the thickness of the paperclip you are using!
@@thehammerofwrath ah of course. Thanks for replying!

We made it to yokohama the weekend before it shut down for good!
Amazing ❤
Thanks 😄
hey tripp do you use a magnifying lamp or something when painting
No, but I do wear reading glasses, because I am an old.
By not giving them spirit stones, you have condemned all those souls to be eternally devoured by Slaanesh. :*(
And that's what those filthy xenos deserve!

hey tripp i was curious what that thing you use for pushing the magnets in flush
In which video? :) I generally use whatever's on hand! (mostly the back of my x-acto handle)
Looking great! What angle did you tilt the bases for printing?
If I recall, around 35 degrees? Maybe higher.
hey tripp what airbrush and air compressor do you use and i was wondering what you use to under the model when you use the airbrush
