This is one of my top three Ren songs. No idea how often I have listened to it. but it took me till your pause to talk about half a man that I realised the connections to the Uruk-Hai, who were thought to be crossbreeds of orcs and men. Orcs themselves were created by transforming elves through prolonged and unfathomable torture until their bodies and minds had been irrevocably warped. So is Ren here then half tortured creature, orc, and half still man? Morgoth, who creates the orcs, would then stand for the Lyme disease and ensuing other autoimmune aspects. Wow.

Welsh sounds evil? To me it’s more like a beautiful elvish language 😅 Seven Sins is one of my favourite Ren songs! A brilliant and *fo-Ren-sic* dissection of pain to give us a small window into the hell he has been through. Not only that, but he is also breaking down the seven sins and how they can turn our species into a “sickness” of the world - especially greed. All to a fire beat 🔥 The song is also just the perfect opening track for the Sick Boi album. When you get deep enough into the rabbit hole to have listened to the full album, you will notice how it’s like a Reniverse tapestry of interconnected lyrics and references with this song hinting at what’s to come. I gotta say though… as Ren keeps growing and more people get to know him, the line “prophets get dropped imagining heaven” is sounding more and more foreboding. He is out there saving lives by giving us hope, inspiring positive change in the world, and asking us to look past our differences to come together as that is the only way he imagines us surviving as a species. There better not be any crazy people out there who would ever want to hurt him for attention! 🫣 We need Ren in the world ❤🐰🕳️

I had never really thought about it before but you are right, how an artist puts a show together is so important, key to the experience and how you feel afterwards. Most finish with the "Big Number" to end on a high. However, I was at an Aurora concert a couple of months ago and she ended on a soft, simple, tear jerker (it worked, I cried). A song that was obviously very personal to her. I left full of happiness and that lasted for days.

It's not the first time she adds at the end.

Yesterday I listened to a full recording of her more recent concert which seems to me to have superb sound quality... I think this is the best (in terms of sound quality) I have ever heard of Angeina singing live, with some spectacular songs: ua-cam.com/video/t4AscECSaCA/v-deo.html

After having heard so many performances of Angelina, live and otherwise, she has the ability to make things seems so easy and understated. That is until you hear someone else tries, yes tries to sing the same song and you suddenly realize how extraordinary Angelina is.❤❤👣❤❤

I attempt to Improve all Audio that I release, no matter the source. The fact is that we all want to Hear Angelina, so at the very least I ALWAYS try to make her more "Up Front" if Necessary. Angelina's team apparently had their own audio engineer at the Dec 14 Christmas concert and the sound, even in the front, was excellent. Can't wait for you to react to: It's a Man's World, Thank You, I Will Always Love You and the jazzy Bad Valentine.

Now I wonder if you would be moved by anyone who sings this song because Angelina really didn't change it much except to add some more color to it.

Thanks A-Aron for another fantastic review of Angelina's performance at Glendale.

Not his phone.He took my advice After Portsmouth and got a digital recorder for the audio separate from the phone.And he in this instance told everybody that he pointedirectional microphones towards the audience instead of towards the stage... Which is good because him being up front in the concussion zone.All he is going to get majority of is the harsh notes from the drums and such if he had pointed it towards the stage. My preference would be to have the directional microphone vertical on the little handheld recorder, with no vibrational influence on the recorders hard- shell.

This lovely lady was doing her usual, sharing her love for all of us through song, through her gorgeous vocals. These are vocals that somehow make us one with her, can't you feel the it?

It was a story about the cycle of generational abuse. This trilogy could be the topic of a multiple hour college lecture. He took 15 minutes of performance and loaded it with more context than should fit. Violet's mom was silent, Violet's dad was abusive Violet was silent and Stevie was abusive Jenny was silent and screech was abusive. And you know your style for reactions. Definitely keep using subtitles if it is a helpful tool. Dont handicap yourself becauae of some internet comments. However, using a printed lyric sheet may be better than the auto generated subtitles UA-cam applies. Just for accuracy sake.

I think he said in a livestream earlier on the year that he has only played an electric guitar for about ten years. In the live version of Time After Time he makes it cry. Like it's an extension of his soul. He's such a natural musician.

Romain's album has been on constant play this year. I just love the feeling of all his music.
