One thing I have always loved about Amira - apart from her stunning voice and the effortlessness with which she sings is that she doesn't go in for any theatrics or try to impress with more power than is needed for any song.... She lets the song itself be what the performance. is about, she herself just the bringer of the song to the listener in the best way that she can using her beautiful voice..
I discovered amira when she auditioned on Holland's got talent in 2013 , she , just like Angelina where child prodigies ! Amira was nine years old at the time she won the show and has gained a devoted fan base !
Amira was 13 when she sang at this show. She had sung two opera arias earlier that evening, Nessun Dorma, and the Flower Duet with Corlea Botha, both are flawless, to the point of stunning, and are on YT. If you want to appreciate her breath control, listen to her sing Gesu Bambino, with her father on church organ. We are approaching Christmas, so it is appropriate. It is also stunning. Great first reaction to Amazing Grace. I am subscribed.

Great reaction to this incredible performance by Amira. Could not agree with your comments more. Amira's voice is like pure crystal absolute perfection. To think she is only 13 here is remarkable in itself. Amira has a heart of gold matching her beautiful voice. Since she was 10 she has been donating about half of her earnings especially for the creation of playgrounds for poor and underprivileged children in South Africa where she now resides. 32 playgrounds have now been established. What a very very special human being is Amira. Just love her heart and inspiring us to walk the talk more .
Amira also sang two arias at this South African concert (CIG 2017). Nessun Dorma, and the Flower Duet with Corlea Botha. Both worthy of your attention.
Amira was 13 here! But any 13 year old can do this. Right? Nope! Amira is as beautiful inwardly as she is outwardly. An outspoken Christian believer and a wonderful humanitarian to impoverished children in South Africa where she resides.

Amira is now studying classical singing and orchestral conducting at university in South Africa. Amira is from The Netherlands but moved to South Africa with her brother and mother who is originally from South Africa.
