I'm no hip hop head. I was making dinner while I listened to this and was nodding along for the first part but when the beat dropped it literally stopped me in my tracks. Stopped chopping veggies and just stood listening to the end. I don't think I've ever unironically called something dope before. This is dope.

What went wrong 1 + 2!!! 🔥 1 is a music video 2 just lyrics. This is ren and Sam in story mode! It’s a wild story, unique sound, and definitely worth a watch. I would maybe do them together cause they are one story spread over 2 songs.
Agreed. The Music Crowns live capture is *the one* for any musicians reacting- it may only be 2 battered old SM58s, but they're good enough to grab the detail of what the 2 voices are doing, & being in a controlled environment rather than on the street allows Ren to display all the dynamic range in his guitar playing thru the piece. It's one of my favourite live music captures on the web. :)
Ren is often lifting/bending his legs when performing - I imagine he's reacting to sensations from neurological damage, probably does it automatically now. Just my guess. He did say in his interview with Zach Sang that he always has aches in his legs.
Neurological damage is exactly right. Ren has said so. If you notice in the last few seconds of his Fred Again mashup, his right leg is shaking & he puts his hand down to still it.
