I think I speak for lots of people when I say you get through the first book of ACOTAR just to get to the second book… 👀 I really didn’t like the first book and DEVOURED the second one. It’s so good. So yeah, maybe you can stick with it just to get to book 2!

That's not only sweet af but it's actually very helpful!! Iron gets depleted when we're on our period and that can leave us tired, exhausted even, and a bit "fuzzy". Iron is what brings oxygen to our body and brain. You can get it from some veggies (spinach being the best veggie source) but it's way easier for the body to absorb iron from meat sources and especially red meats.

I finished acotar and thoroughly hated it lol life's too short to do things that don't bring you joy stick that baby back up on the shelf :)

I found Acotar's first book so difficult to get through and I know a lot of people were the same! The rest of the series is much better if that gives any motivation? If you're struggling with a fantasy slump though then I'd really recommend Fourth Wing if you haven't read it already. It's brilliant! Some of the character names are inspired by Gaelic too!

This was such a great video, Caroline. It's lovely to see hikes like this on video. I have a physical disability, and while I can and do love to hike, my body can't sustain longer hikes.
