    Господи, какие современные люди беспомощные. Разошёлся шов. Возьми иголку с синтетической ниткой и за 15 минут восстанови шов по старым дыркам. Проклей. Всё, проблема решена. Но нет, взрослый, седой мужчина «деморализован», требует возврата денег и чуть не плачет на камеру. Фу, блядь.

    nice video, do you also have the 'problem'' when it rains it looks that the tent becomes a little bit bigger? i mean the fabric seems to become a little bit larger when its wet. So when it rains i always have to go outside to re-tension the tent.

    • @JustinWhiting9
      @JustinWhiting9 Місяць тому

      Thanks. Yes, it’s the silnylon fabric which absorbs moisture and slackens when wet. I’ve noticed though, when it dries and gets a bit of sun it tightens itself up 👍

    Condensation happens because of a temperature difference between inside the tent, and outside the tent. That temperature difference is caused by the person camping in the tent. So setting up a tent in the rain without anybody camping inside it doesn't mean anything with regard of condensation.

    • @JustinWhiting9
      @JustinWhiting9 4 місяці тому

      In this tent I think body heat might be a small contributing factor. Humidity from breath and lack of ventilation are greater causes of condensation in the L2pro. Thanks for your comment 👍

      @@JustinWhiting9 I was in Wick a few weeks ago - it's such a sad affair, this little town. But I did stay there on my walk after an unplanned 45 km day 🙄 Yes, the weather was brilliant the last two weeks. We first spent a week in North Yorkshire, close to Darlington, now a week in Castleton. It's the second time we are here - we have a great place where we can stay with the dog and there so many walks around here. Unfortunately, my wife is scared of heights which somewhat limits the selection 😂 Yesterday I asked for permission to do a solo hike - left here at 4.30 in the morning to do a 20 mile loop over Kinder Scout. Great to see another video Justin along the beautiful shropshire way...Think we are all struggling this year to get a long stretch of good weather....Love Ironbridge but must admit my favourite time to visit is a very early winter morning with plenty of mist and no one about just adds to the spectacular village...Looking forward to your next one👍🏻😁👍🏻

    is it easy enough to find wildcamping spots along the trail? would you recomend great glen way or ehw?(which one is worse for midges?) i have done whw..

    • @JustinWhiting9
      @JustinWhiting9 5 місяців тому

      On my day 4 video of the EHW I give a summary of my thoughts on the trail. Wild camping is possible, but there are fewer suitable spots than you think. EHW is remote, almost no other hikers. GGW is more sociable with more hikers, canoeists and people boating in the canal. I was lucky and almost no midges, so I don’t know. EHW is higher up so windier, maybe fewer midges.

    Out of all the tents I own, this one is by far the best value for money. I've got the standard Lanshan 2 and the 2 Pro and believe me, I've had them out in some testing conditions. I used my Pro for the Pennine Way, perfect tent for the job and once you've got the knack, can be pitched in about 3 minutes. Great pitching & tips video. ATB

    Hello...I m planing my first long distance hike in Scotland,and can't figure out which one .. whw seems to be busy with people at this time of year and fact that in some places can't wild camp gives me a headache..the only challenge for me would be midges, otherwise I m not looking for easy trek. Which one would you recommend? Great Glenn way?

    • @JustinWhiting9
      @JustinWhiting9 6 місяців тому

      All the trails in Scotland are quiet except the WHW. The GGW is easy but still beautiful. It could be a good choice for your first trail I think.

    • @JustinWhiting9
      @JustinWhiting9 6 місяців тому

      Yes, WHW has wonderful and varied scenery but the paths are busy. There are campsites within the ‘no wild camping zone’ along Loch Lomond so it’s ok.
