Another great episode. Thank you. Really enjoying this series.👍🏻
Thank you, glad to hear it! 😀 👍
Absolutely lovely...even see that there is some of that wonderful heather still in bloom! Really enjoying your exploration! Bruce and Otis
Glad you enjoyed it. I certainly did. 👌 I cut my mileage on this hike so I could enjoy the views and the nature more. It paid off and I was more relaxed and thoroughly enjoyed myself. 🤠
Thank you again Justin for bringing me the delights of that wonderful area , the music is really good and that song is brilliant.
🥃
You’re welcome Dave 🤠 More of all that good stuff coming soon!…
Beautiful views again along the trail 🙌 I admire your consistent positive view on every aspect of your walks 🙃 When I did the EHW and Speyside Way this year, I uttered the odd curse, especially when walking miles and miles on (mostly) dull forestry (without forest left) tracks or the along the old Strathspey Railway line.... It seems that the newer trails are all trying to include cyclists (which I don't mind) but forgetting a bit about the hiker. Tarmac or gravel is OK for a while but I really enjoy the variety of surfaces and landscapes. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the walks and will go back to Scotland as soon as I can - I just wished there would be something a bit "wilder" (not sure that is the right expression).
As for the muesli/power bar contest - I just refuse to spend the rediculous amount of money for these 😂 I stick with my nuts and raisin mix, which is yummy and much cheaper 😁
Looking forward to the next leg 🙌😍
Thanks Stefan 👍 I am not always cheerful, in fact I am very often a grumpy old man. However, I think there are 3 main reasons I am cheerful on trail. I always go when the weather is good, I love the freedom and time to do whatever I want, and I’m in my happy place surrounded by hills and lakes. After that, everything seems better and nothing can stop me. I don’t normally buy expensive bars but this time I got them last minute and had the idea to review them at break time. Not planned, just thought of it on day 1. It’s just something different from making the same video all the time. Anyway, days 4 and 5 are not far away now… Tschuess!
Another great vlog of a beautiful day in scotland...cant believe how lucky you had it with the weather and missing midges 😂😂...Thanks once again Justin....I recommend the sis tiramisu bar 😁lovely after a long hike 👍🏻😃👍🏻wil10
I wait for good weather when doing trails. Done about 25 days hiking in the Highlands with only 1 rainy day. It’s an old joke of mine, “Does it ever rain in Scotland?” 😂. When you named that bar I thought you were recommending a pub! 🍺
@@JustinWhiting9 🤣🤣🤣🤣
🍺 🤠
If it wasn't so expensive to travel to Scotland, I would definitely do all these trails as well. They are all so beautiful and the views are so gorgeous. Happy that I could see some of them trough your videos.
I feel the same way about hiking in the Alps or the USA. However, there is excellent hiking in the north of England and Scotland, which is easy for me to reach by car or train. Hooray for UA-cam! 😂
@@JustinWhiting9 yeah you're so lucky. Here in the Netherlands it is so boring if I compare that with the uk 😅
It’s a long way for you guys to any big hills… 🥲
@@JustinWhiting9 it is....
Another perfect video from you. Like your varied video settings while using a tripod.
Excellent idea making "nut bar tastings" - although first I thought you´re making advertising🙂
This stage seemed for me a little bit "not so attractive" regarding the pipeline section ...
But there are some more miles to go.
Liebe Grüße aus Bayern
Thank you for noticing the details 🙏 I try different shots to make it more interesting for viewers, and for me too. The nut bar reviews were an idea on day 1, so I just did it. No planning and no advertising! 😂
90% coz I’m not sorry to say, that it has been sunny all day here in Wiltshire!
Sorry Andy, I don’t understand, 90% ?
@@JustinWhiting9 Apologies Justin. I don’t quite know how I managed to do that, but that comment was meant to be on a totally unconnected video to yours! No wonder it doesn’t make sense!
Yours channel is a good series of videos BTW.
Ha ha Andy! 😂 Thank you, I’ll take the 90% mark, sir!
Enjoying the series Justin. How would it be for wild camping along the route? What made you decide not to camp? Gordon
Hi Gordon, the trail runs along the national cycle path 7 for many miles, so you have to go off trail to wild camp but there are options. I talk about my decision not to camp this time in the Day 4 vid (out now). 👍
@@JustinWhiting9 ha! I’m just watching it now……. Thanks
I knew people would be asking!…. 🤠 Another reason I didn’t mention was midges. I thought there would be loads but actually none on this trip.
