Is the 1.5t engine known to be an oil burner down the road, or is it a pretty safe bet? Also wondering about carbon buildup on intake valves since it's GDI only.

A simple alternative to replacing the horn is to adjust the existing horn's tone/volum. the factory horn has a single Phillips screw on the back of the factory horn (you have to take out the 12mm headed mounting bracket bolt to see it) and thought it looked like an adjustment screw. Sure enough, I played with it and got a way better sound from the horn. You have to take out the big plastic cover in the front, with the hood opener hole to get to the horn, but not a big deal with small blade screw driver and pliers.

This may be too late to get an answer, but according to three manual it states this car only needs 3.7 quarts, not 4.2. When I put in 4.2 it was overfull on the dipstick

I just purchased a 2024 it has drive mode the product description says with drive mode but notations on pictures say do not purchase will not fit with drive mode will it work or not?

For people waiting for the car to tell you when you need an oil change and depending on that free honda two year free oil change. Forget it, basicaly honda is giving you two free oil changes over two years. Not worth it get oil changed and pay for it yourself every 5k. Unless you want a screwdd up turbo. Also get first oil change at 1k

Does orientation of the horn matter? Can you install the horn with the horn outlet facing the front of the vehicle? Or would the horn be in danger of getting water into it through it's outlet?

very nice, got it installed on my 2024 CR-V Hybrid Sports-L, took about 15 minutes. The hardest part is to install the new one, took me a few tries to get it snapped on.

The oil drained from the motor was really dirty! I would be changing the oil more often instead of allowing it to get that bad.

Do you need to disconnect negative wire from car battery?

i would never expect to have to cut the body on a OEM hitch .. i was supposed to buy a new oem hitch tomorrow now ill buy a aftermarket instead honda should have done better on this one

Hey, that’s a great mod. I want to do that on my FL5 but there’s no wire or plug. Can you help me with this and can you measure the pins on the connector please? I just need to know which is + and which is -. I would just add an USB wire to the one from the front which I changed to usb-c.

Does it work on 2024 CR-V Sports L Hybrid? The dealer quoted me $170 for the kit and $76 for labor, not sure if it's worth $76 for the labor.

For a vehicle that cost that much, it sure is missing a lot of things. No puddle lights, no glove compartment lights, no console storage lights, to add homelink, i have to replace the expensive auto dimming mirror with another auto dimming mirror with homelink! WTF! Oh the horn needs an upgrade too as it sounded puny.

I cannot open mine. Somethings is still blocking when i pull it on the left side. Is this different from asian market.

I have 2023 Hybrid, the turning signal didn’t work but I’m grateful to have the rear deflector working at night (with applying breaks as well). I have added fog lights as well lol😂 but got stuck at the wiring. I don’t know which wire (out of 8 wires) is the acc wire.

Just to let you all know I got the mirror is in and working well. I did have to take the back plate off the old mirror to make fit.
