    How many miles needed to change air filter ?

    • @zoomgas2803
      @zoomgas2803 7 місяців тому +2

      That was at 8K miles. The key factor is the type of air quality you are driving in. If you find yourself in dusty areas, you will find that it will get loaded up in only 5K miles. Thanks for watching!

    This video does not show a 2024 CR-V filter replacement

    I have a 2023 CRV EXL and my filter is square not the shape you have. Can’t find a filter to fit anywhere, don’t want to pay the dealer, even for the part‼️ The clips on my air filter housing are on the left side and the tabs on the right as you look at it from the front of the vehicle. 🤷‍♂️

      You have the hybrid, that filter is new and only available from Honda/Acura dealers currently. I would guess it won’t be long and the major filter mfg will have a cross reference. Thanks for watching!

      Surprisingly, routine maintenance parts from the dealer aren't that expensive. The standard blue OEM oil filter is like $8. Give them a try.

      @dcamp3062 please advise where your CR-V was built and when as we are trying to pin down when or at what assembly facility they use the square filter vs the square with the corner notched out. The one shown in video was very early build from Greensburg, IN plant. Thanks for your help

    This is not a 2023 CR-V you are changing. 2023 is square it does not have that cut out corner.

      This IS a 2023 CR-V EXL, not the hybrid, which uses a square filter. This is a great reminder to check your vehicle engine type for items like this. Thanks for watching!

      @@zoomgas2803 I changed the wifes airfilter about a hour ago. 2023 CR-V EXL 1.5L turbo engine. That is not the same airfilter in your video as the one I just changed. The filter measures 7 1/4”x 7 3/4” essentially square with all four corners. Homda part#17220-64A-A00. I had to ordee the filter directly from Honda as there is no aftermarket options at Advance Auto, Autozone, or Napa. They can get the Hybrid engine/motor filter but not the 1.5L standard engine.

      This is great information, as that would then say that, Honda made a running change during the model year, as my 2023 EXL was delivered October 25 2022. When during the model year was yours built?
