FREE Bambu Lab 3D Printer from MakerWorld, is it real?
Hey, folks. It is been a while, since my last video.
I was planning to make this video for a while now. Since I started post my design on MakerWorld and earn a P1S.
It is really generous for BBL to doing this.
If you are someone really into 3d modeling and 3d printing, this is an amazing opportunity for you, or if you are new to 3d modeling world or 3d printing. I highly encourage you to give a try, everybody started from Zero. I can do this, so do you.

I have gone through a lot of things in life for the past few month. It really make me rethinking what is valueable thing in my life. I am shame to say, I don't have work life balance, or personal life. Once I am doing design, or something, I will literally sit in from of computer for more 10 hours, until I get it done.
A lot of time, we are too focus on something and just igoned people around you.
She provided many great ideal for my design, make sure I don't starving to death in front of computer and doing design/video thing.
only know how much you love her when you let her go...
Hey K, I will try my best to moving forward, get better, and hopefully there is still a chance. I have no other way to contact you, until you see my video... We made this channel togeter. ..

I would like to clarify that the tolerance test may vary greatl...

Also, if you are running printing farm or mutiple Bambu Lab machines, this device will help you with your workflow. But when you have different modes like I did, you might be very easy to make mistakes. As it is curretly fresh to the market, BigTreeTech is s...

    I would encourage people to tread cautiously when adding profiles to others' models to earn points. If a profile is genuinely adding something beneficial, then go for it. But more times than not, people are just profile spamming for point farming. MakerWorld has a great incentive system, but it's very easy for people to see it as a Get Rich Quick scheme if everyone thinks they can just add some simple things, go viral, and get free printers.

  • @aloreactusplayer1776
    @aloreactusplayer1776 День тому

    love the video but thare is also an other side to this story witch happens alot and fb, al lot of online forum's and reddit is full of it so seems fair to tell that two. you still need to print the model and have proof of concept and have pics of the print to post a profile you make els its going to get flagged by the algorithm or by other users and the profile gets removed if this is the case. and just makeing faster print profile a the loss of quality of some prints also can get you flagged and kicked off the model page. so yes you can do this route and make profiles but makerworld is firm on the user quality of the profiles so dont just lower the infill and add a wall or change the support from normal to tree because this is what moste people do to try and gain points. miss use or the point system can result in to los of points or even in a ban so thats something to consider. this is the side you didnt tell about the point system.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau День тому

      Totally agree, I have seeing a lot of people misuse the point system since last DEC. BBL is trying to bring more fair and better site for both users and designers. I was very active on forums putting my thought and suggestion to help it getting better. A lot of new rules been updated to bring more fair enviornment over the past few month, a lot of amazing new feature added. It might not be the best online 3d model platform so far, but I see they are continuesly improving it and bring new things to the table. New maker's supply feature, MakerLab, etc. I love it.

    Would have been nice to see the investment as $/hours. I am guessing its closer to $1/hr than say $40/hr

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau День тому

      It is hard to count the time investment, depends on design, how popular it is, that might have huge inpact. At the same time the long term earning is also hard to forcast. The main thing is that I enjoying desing and sharing with people. If there is addition reward for this that just perfect.

    • @doctoroctos
      @doctoroctos 11 годин тому

      @@SvgLau Does makerlab reward more coins for printing in bambu material, or is it agnostic of material type? Looking at makerworld, it looks like they are monetarily pumping their own ecosystem in an attempt to take over as #1. Similar to how tiktok advertised on youtube until it took over as a major player in social media. While its not a bad thing, I am imagining that they water down their reward system over time as the platform grows. Only time will tell.

    • @SvgLau
      @SvgLau 10 годин тому

      Yeah, I think a lot people have conceen about water down points value in future day. But so far, I could BBL vision is to build the website at makereco system with their product. Not just a printing file share platform.

    i'm going with the p1p when I consider to buy one, I use the tevo tornado and I've had no problem with my 3d printer. since I don't need to print in a garage, the enclosure is not a step up like many believe. just use a filament dryer, it's a game changer when it comes to solid 3d printing. no enslosure is going to save your 3d print from a filament sitting outside absorbing moisture.

    Getting it connected on wifi is a pain. It requires you to use their app and a blue tooth connection. The app only works if you give it all sorts of access and getting blue tooth to work is a hail mary. I got it so far as the pairing menus on both ends, but then it failed. Why they didn't use SSID and pwd like everybody else is a mystery. Wish I knew this before I bought it.

    paper towel leaves traces, PTFE additive can lock the bearing and make it slide instead of roll, damaging it. this is a terrible maintenance procedure.

    @8:45 The rods will come out fairly easily if you twist each side of the gantry a little in opposite directions... just a few slight twists while pulling outward and one side will pop out easily. We really need to get the grease packed inside the bearing for it to be effective. The rest of the video helped me get my SV06 plus setup - I disassembled the printer enough to do this job right out the box from new.

    Now, that was a really heart-opening and encouraging journey for someone like me, trying to find my own way into designing my own stuff and building a brand around it. Coming from 10 years of experience in electronics and software engineering, things started to feel really dull and senseless after AI was introduced. It felt like I was always doing what needed to be done, without any chance to introduce myself or my own ideas into the projects or products I was working on. Now, with my self-taught industrial design journey, I hope it will enable me to express myself to the world again!
