Two days ago I received the K1 Max. I was veru gappy until I oponed the box. The fron door? Smashed in pieces, but to be fair not a Creality issue at all, THANK YOU FEDEX! I did test it with the small board they come preloaded, but when I tried to install the top glass, I realized it did not fit. It seems that Fedex trhowed that box like from the truck to the street before delivering, it was not squared. Great thing is that I contacted Creality support and after a few pictures I was set to get another one (just waiting for the shipping label). I also puchased the Bambu Labs P1S and the A1 both with the 4 filaments roll devices. Hope thay are as great as most people say! I did loved the fact that with Creality I can print bigger, not that I plan to use to pint big but it is so confortable to know that If I need to print biger I dont have to slice the prints in two :) Btw, how did you got the raisesrs for the top side? I love it! Would like to print for both my printers :)

Thanks this helped a lot with my first feed error due to a snapped piece of filament stuck in the AMS.

Sharing in 2024 so others hopefully see. I got the SV06 plus but it appears to have the upgrades seen on the SV07 such as having the two set screws so this maintenance may not be needed.great info still and great video

How do you add it to an A1?

I had so many issues with the k1 so I bought a p1s. Just go with the p1s it’s so much better. I would rather have 1 p1s than 2 k1 printers

For anyone still trying to do this. I just figured out I’m retarded. Offset has to be 1.60 But I have been putting the offset to .16. Did it that change and now it is working like a charm.

Btw thanks for sharing your time and research I was on the boat whether to jump in and buy the P1S combo or X1 series of course saving the extra ching ching would mean I would miss the Black Friday Sale and have to save even more dough to make my move.

As for my choice it will be for the P1S not only does it appeal to my Kool factor but keeping dust, pet hair out a must have. The AMS unit even though I don't right now print multi-color won't go to waste in the future. The sovol 7+ is such a piece of crap. I bought a brand new Extruder and gears and I can't even get filament to load.

I get my sv06 plus tomorrow from amazon. I will be performing this lubrication procedure as soon as I open printer box. Should I get Klipper for my sv06 plus? Is it a recommended upgrade? Thank You for sharing your time!

Hello 3d printing people… i just bought this model for my son, and already his first two test prints failed and did not get past a few layers, it popped off and started making “spaghetti” !! to try to fix it between the first and second try we have: shut the vents in his room so it is not drafty (also we do have it in an enclosure but only print with it open! our house is very dusty and i have read that dust can sometimes make the filament not work well.), made sure the plate was clean in case it popped off, and replaced the table it was on to a much sturdier one so there was no wiggling…. can anyone direct me to where we can get the most beginner friendly way to troubleshoot this??! thanks in advance!

This helped me 100%. Newbies, don't be so anxious like me. I hastly put it together, stuck the filament in WITHOUT properly identifying that the black filament was PLA-CF and not regular PLA. So it got stuck. Take a moment, breath and just understand things a little before hitting print lol. WIll save some aggravation. At least now I know how to unjam the thing lol.

Would be nice if you added the links in your description to the 3d printed upgrades. Am looking for a better routing for the extruder cable but no success yet finding what you have in the video. Suggest in your future videos you add links to anything you show. Would mean your video might get picked up as helpful by other people and linked by other users such as in reddit which means more traffic to your channel.

This video has lots of good information but I'm looking for a setup guide for my new AMS. I think you might need to rename this video.

My PLA filament is stuck in the feed in mechanism with those yellow parts. Cant get it out even with pushing the lever that you have to ush when feeding in new filament from roll.
