love the video but thare is also an other side to this story witch happens alot and fb, al lot of online forum's and reddit is full of it so seems fair to tell that two. you still need to print the model and have proof of concept and have pics of the print to post a profile you make els its going to get flagged by the algorithm or by other users and the profile gets removed if this is the case. and just makeing faster print profile a the loss of quality of some prints also can get you flagged and kicked off the model page. so yes you can do this route and make profiles but makerworld is firm on the user quality of the profiles so dont just lower the infill and add a wall or change the support from normal to tree because this is what moste people do to try and gain points. miss use or the point system can result in to los of points or even in a ban so thats something to consider. this is the side you didnt tell about the point system.
Totally agree, I have seeing a lot of people misuse the point system since last DEC. BBL is trying to bring more fair and better site for both users and designers. I was very active on forums putting my thought and suggestion to help it getting better. A lot of new rules been updated to bring more fair enviornment over the past few month, a lot of amazing new feature added. It might not be the best online 3d model platform so far, but I see they are continuesly improving it and bring new things to the table. New maker's supply feature, MakerLab, etc. I love it.
I love makerworld's system and have earned a few printers myself! Love your models, for better monetization you should consider sharing to Thangs as well.
I was going to do the same, however found more success selling prints of the items instead. Now on my 3rd paid for printer selling 30 items (hour printing time each) a week.
It is hard to count the time investment, depends on design, how popular it is, that might have huge inpact. At the same time the long term earning is also hard to forcast. The main thing is that I enjoying desing and sharing with people. If there is addition reward for this that just perfect.
@@SvgLau Does makerlab reward more coins for printing in bambu material, or is it agnostic of material type? Looking at makerworld, it looks like they are monetarily pumping their own ecosystem in an attempt to take over as #1. Similar to how tiktok advertised on youtube until it took over as a major player in social media. While its not a bad thing, I am imagining that they water down their reward system over time as the platform grows. Only time will tell.
Yeah, I think a lot people have conceen about water down points value in future day. But so far, I could BBL vision is to build the website at makereco system with their product. Not just a printing file share platform.

I JUST got my first $40. It makes me want to do more of this, genius by Bambu Lab really.
agree.
Thank you for analysing this so well
Hey welcome back
Long Time No See.
I’d love to see the unboxing when it comes!
unfortunately, I did not record open box for that one.
I love makerworld's system and have earned a few printers myself! Love your models, for better monetization you should consider sharing to Thangs as well.
thanks man!
I already have a p1s that I paid for but with uploading I've already earned 360 dollars and it's been fueling my printing addiction
that's nice man.

That's true, I am more enjoying designing things, not selling. It takes a lot of energy. That's awesome it works out for you!
What advertising places would you l recommend to promote your models
Hi, im new to this channel but i am wondering, how long from start to finish did this take you?
It takes a month or so, then, I got a few models that get very popular, and almost one model will earn equivalent points for a printer.
Did they nerf it
You are a funny guy.
Would have been nice to see the investment as $/hours. I am guessing its closer to $1/hr than say $40/hr
