Wow that's strange it got worse! Guess they did a lot of testing for the factory calibration. May have something to do with the actual default speeds used as well. Great video! If a word is particularly hard for you, I recommend breaking it down into parts. Accelerometer is axe-cell-lur-rom-meter. Hope the suggesting is not insulting. Love the effort!

Yeah, most videos I've seen make this accelerometer calibration test seem useless and unneeded.

I did mine following the book and it made the printer unusable with massive layer shifting.. after watching this video I noted that the accelerometer was reversed here compared to the manual.. how did you know which way the accelerometer was supposed to be?

The direction is according to cartesian coordinate system. So just kinda try out with that logic and it worked.

Great info. What is the print placed above the large fan for? What advantages? Where can I find the file? Thank you!

It's a cover that I designed to reduce the gantry cooling fan noise, made couple revisions so far seems went to the wrong rabbit hole. Very little to no effect to the noise level.

@@SvgLau And yes, it makes a lot of noise, but the fan must be the problem, it seems quite cheap at sight. Thanks for the info!

@@paoloz67 yeah, it's cheap part. Even the duct itself feels really cheap too. Working on design a duct system that could replace with quality pc case fan.

I'd love to do this, but the screws are overtightened so much on mine, it'll strip if I try. So I guess I'm screwed. F-ing sovol.

I have the same issue as the other post.
I followed instructions and ran through the process.
Mine factory was set at x40 and Y40. I did not note well enough the setting to the right what letters where there.
After running imput with auto calibration i got X53 with ei. And Y46 with ei once and mz something the next try.
However none of that matters as the printer is no longer useable at this point. It now moves with tremendous force. Switching directions so abruptly it just skips teeth on the belt and of course thats layer shifting. I cannot find a reset to factory option. I manually tried on the lcd screen to adjust the slider bars back to the original 40 on each axis and i think they where on 2 hump setting. But it will not save my manual settings. Says in text in lcd above slider bars manual settings must be done in config folder and saved.
Well i open config folder and have zero clue how go make any changes. I have had this 7plus for 2 weeks and have wasted hours trying to get a decent print. I am not new to 3d printing. Been doing it for last 8 years. Also have the Bambu X1C. I got this 7 plus for the larger prints. But i am so pissed off at this entire thing. I hate this printer. My first time using Klipper and it sucks a fat ****". If you have never used it and simply dont know anything about it you are just plane out of luck. Hours reading online and nothing ever gets to the point. I got one easy question. Reset imput shaper to factory settings? How hard could that be? Well pretty dam hard. Open config fold find line that reads " your a sucker for buying this junk" and enter in the amount of money and hours spent getting nowhere here. Now get out your calculator and take that money spent X the hours spent researching and trying to get it going then divide that by 1000 and you now have X which is your iq. Yes its negative because if you had any brain you would not have purchased this junk.
Then hit save and close. Reboot and nothing changed or it only gets worse.
Sorry i have just spent the last 6 hours of my evening trying to calibrate the ringing in the prints. Its now 2:30 am and i stopped working on the sov7plus and called it a night. I have read watched videos and nothing simply shows how to put it back to its original settings.
Ok well i guess i need to read and understand what is happening. I read the klipper page access the config folder and guess what?......the lines they show are not the same lines in my fliudd page of clipper. Shows imput shaper. Under that should show X and Y and the values. Mine shows a buffer number and something else. I am so lost at this point and tired i dont remember what it was. But it does not match the klipper page that shows the numbers. Rediculous.
Why is the auto calibration making the printer so aggressive?
It did not help anything. Just slams back and forth skipping belt teeth. Oh well guess it sits there till i get pissed and toss it out.
Thanks for your videos. I have referred to them several times over the last 2 weeks trying to get a half decent print from the 7 plus. But nope no luck. I bet i could pull the board and electronics out and build my own setup with more success. Who knows.

yeah, it is kinda unfortunate that they are a bit rush out this printer. When I received my pre-order unit, the manual instruction is poor that I would totally believe a new comer will get confused by many of ther steps in the instruction. I have gives feedback to them, I think they might have made revision on the later patch.
But you are not the only one who having issue with the Klipper files on the printer. Apparently there are a lot more people having issue after change settings or thing on the cfg. file for the Klipper firmware. So, don't feel bad about yourself, I have done that so many times. It will be always new journey when you play around with new printers, they all have some difference at some point. Now as many people have requested on the FB group and asking for the orginal Klipper files, they have told that their enginners are working on some bugs and will be post to their site ASAP.
I believe your problem will be fix by replacing the files to the original. I would said might be waitting for the new cfg. file to get upload, or find it on Github. Leave the malfunction printer alone for a bit, I have experienced similar thing with Prusa MK3S for many week before, similar shitt, just never get a print come out right. In the end of the day, I just leave it alone for a while until I got enough patience to dealing with it.
As far as Klipper goes, it is whole new thing to compare to the Marlin. Some people love it some don't. I have a mix bag of experience with Klipper printers. It is sometimes really ticky to work with it compared to the Marlin.
