IceBear Champion (CT70 clone) quick update.
Переглядів 1,1 тис.День тому
Purchased new in June of 2022, I began the transformation of this clone, into looking as closely to a 1978 Honda CT70 as possible. One of the last changes I wanted to make was swapping the stock front disc brake for the 1978 version drum brake. It took a little work, but I got it done. #hondact70 #Lifan #minitrail

This bike retains its original engine, but has had a few upgrades: new piston, rings, gaskets and electronic ignition. Due to all the Michigan bikes missing their seats and exhaust, this bike has a used seat, an aftermarket exhaust and aftermarket throttle. Bike runs, rides, stops and could ...

Great video Mike. I'm a late comer because I lucked into your channel. Have to tell you how good it is to look over your shoulder and hear your thoughts while you revive these little legends. You're teaching folks with some experience turning wrenches and a love for Mini Hondas; watching you revive another golden 70 striped down to the bone, the rusty but solid 70 you put a Lifen on was most impressive. You're fantastic at what you share freely and a very valuable resource for years to come. Thank you!

Hi Mike, i went to replace the battery in my son's 1991 Honda CT70 and found a huge mouse nest underneath. I am trying to clean it out and in the process found 2 wires that were broken off from who knows where. One is green with a yellow stripe and the other is black they are taped together. Would you know where they come from? TY

@@devonm7868 Sounds like they are the foot brake switch, for lighting the brake light. Black is 12v power into the switch and green/yellow is the power leaving the switch to the light.

Thanks for sharing! Captivating from start to finish, fine, fine, Tutorial, and the ride at the end made my jaw drop, a couple of those throttle-enticed wheelies really was a pleasure to watch. Hope to see this one when you're finished - Awesome!

@@horsewnoname872 That was a good bike. I sold it to a subscriber. He brought it back to my shop in April and rode it 105 miles with us, during the Spring Ride that I hosted.
