Far as I’m concerned, the K0 has/had the nicest looking exhaust of the whole bunch !!! In fact, the K0s were the nicest looking in general (I think) and wow… what a choice of 6 colors, 3 for the three-speed semi-auto and 3 for the four-speed manual. Never sold my Candy Gold K0 (4/70), one of the best memories of my early teens !!
Awesome video mike i think you’re price is a steal, i finally picked up my second ct70 1970 (217066) a frame & a tote full of parts for $800 ,it’s missing parts &got some other bike parts lol but i will enjoy the build 👍
@@genekelley7579 Thanks! It’s getting close to the Fall small engine/tractor show time. Dad will spend the next couple months attending and showing at those.
@@Geordo1960 The K1’s (1972) were red or yellow. They also had a different front fork cover. Both the K2 and the K3 came in the same two colors, orange or blue.
@@kennyhelms277 No. Honestly, I hate the look of an oil cooler. I want my bikes to look as stock as possible. It’s a big reason I stick to the 125’s, they don’t need a cooler.
@@kennyhelms277 I’ve put an oil cooler on a Lifan 125 for a a friend of mine daughter’s 1980. Like Mike says, it’s really not necessary… but if you like the idea of bringing the oil temp down a bit and don’t mind the look, go for it… nothing to loose ‘cept a little heat !!

You should bring some of those ct70 to rice-o-rama.
@@kevinryan1239 Don’t know what that is. Im guessing a bike show? If so, I kinda stay away from those, I’m not big on crowds.
This one looks just like my 1972
