They should make the “weak” beat volume adjustable by holding down the snare button and adjusting the volume slider.

One question I am not sure to have picked up correctly in the reference manual: can you assign a different midi channel to each pist in order to let us say control 11 pists in Ableton with 11 different sounds at the same time? Something existing on Elektron machines for instance even Model Samples

thanks for all the good information. really a fan of your videos. Quick question, I'm using TR-8S with Serato DJ Pro and TR Sync function works, but I can't seem to Nudge patterns when doing so and I can't beatmatch that way. Do you have any idea why it won't work? It works in Ableton Live.

Can you assign a knob just for ext in which can control different effects for the device plunged in? Say i have a td3. Can i some extra effects if i connect to the tr8s?

This is great content for a noob like myself. A lot of other creators start at a higher level of expected knowledge. I recently bought a TR-8S, first synth I've owned. Many years DJ'ing, but live performance is a new step for me. I went through all your tutorials, but this has been my favorite content of yours I've found, so far. I knew the functions were there, but seeing how you put it all together in real time is great! Can't wait to go tinker with my machine now...

Please 🙏🏻, is it possible to have it in same time with Live : - as drumbox (with separate channels in a group) - as controller on another channel (as eg for Spire VST) - as for global project interface (for mixing faders) …and by clicking from one of those channel to another, having those upper use without having to do anything ? Have the factory setups changed since this video was created. I have a brand new tr8s. I'm following this video step by step. Nothing is matching or performing the same. For instance, TR-808 pattern 6-03 is called ChirpinOnClouds. Your video it displays ----, and sounds totally different. Not a huge deal, but when I save the kit and pattern as shown. All my variations have sounds programmed. A-F all have sounds. In your video only A has sounds. The rest are empty. Am I missing something, or have things changed since 2 years ago?

Jut a workflow tip you can hold copy down and more quickly copy variation A to B, C, D etc without scrolling
