This is another live set recorded 03/09/2023.
I'm using the Roland TR-8S as my main drum controller and have the XoneK2 as a midi controller to control some tracks and loops in Ableton Live.

brother, i was hopìng you could help me out. How are you running the TR8 S throught ableton? Are you using your audio interface as the ASIO audio device? I just got a TR8s and I would love to use it along with my Digitone (through its own plugin and usb audio) and my Analog Synth(plugged in to my interface) which I play all on live with ableton and my audio interface.

Hey, well I basically run the TR8-S straight into my audio interface (stereo) and in Ableton I have an audio track with ext1/2 selected (stereo). The audio interface is set up as an ASIO audio device in Ableton. I'm not sure how many stereo audio in's your audio interface has but you could parallel it up or use EXT IN on your tr8s if you have limited inputs. There are multiple ways. Cheers

great video! any way to configure the xone k2 its lights with Ableton live? red, orange and green?

Hey mate, well I don't think so. You can change your layer and have a different layer colour but there is not an option to have within one layer different colours unless your go deep into the midi settings and manipulate the midi/files etc...
