One slight correction though: If you select Auto Fill In to play the fill every 4 bars, it doesn't come on after variation D and H, but it plays it IN STEAD OF variation D and H. So it'll go A B C Fill E F G Fill (8 bars total), and not A B C D Fill E F G H Fill (10 bars total).

I’ve never figured out how to use specific notes per step, so I mainly just use the tr8s for drums and percussion, but I’ve seen videos of yours and others where they’ll manage to get a proper bass riff &/or instrument riff going all within the tr8s. How do you understand that the bass frequencies don't cover those of the bass drum? if you did a live show on a professional system you would have big problems when you can't create your own balanced presets with graphic equalizers on a DAW. Right? I think that drum machines have big limitation to JAMMIN' in a professional contest.
Hey, yes drum machines have limitations. It is just a drum machine. However, if you use the TR8-S as and audio interface via usb you will have 11 instruments or tracks in your DAW. With 11 separate tracks you are able to use different eq's and fx's on your tracks to make sure you have the right separation of frequencies etc. This is a way how to do it. You could use a software tool to have the TR8-S parallel to your other audio interface so their both work together. Or, you only use one track for the TR8-S in your DAW and use your ears :)

If you change kit between pattern, the effects are stoped ?
Well, every kit has its own effects. If you copy your kit (s) then your fx are the same.
