The Roland TR-8S Guide. I'll explain this time how to fix the volume decline over time of your samples. Especially when your samples are quite long. I also show a way to stop the playback completly... sometimes the samples and sounds keep playing/ fading out when you press stop. Simple step-by-step explanation in a short video. Easy to follow.

very interesting tip, I meet this problemof decrease decay in long sample. the hold step help the tr8S to become a real sampler

Hello,
Do you know if there is a parameter to set so that the Tr me plays an imported sample exactly on the selected steps, quit truncating it?
Ex: if I activate the 16 steps, I would like the sample in question to be really launched on each of the steps, and truncated at the end of each step so that it starts on the next.
Because if the sample is very short, of course, the 16 steps are started.

Hey, yes you could change the sample length or/and the beginning with TR-8S.
When you change the beginning of the sample to really tight the sample starts exactly on your selected steps.
You also could change the endpoint of the sample to make it shorter... in your case very short.
I hope this is what you meant?

@@choppedstrandaudio4561 Good morning! And thank you for your answer ... but it doesn't work, sorry. Yes it allows to adjust the beginning and the end of a sample but ... On an imported sample, even if I adjust its start, its end, the length of the game (by step for example ...): the sample n is not played properly on each activated Step. Some Steps are simply not played if they are right next to each other.
