For the reset you only need to do item A if it’s your first oil change or if you are only doing an oil/filter change. Item B reset, is for oil/filter, break pads inspection, adjust parking break and inspect other vehicle systems. The other items are for different services as well so by you doing an ( ALL ITEMS RESET) will reset ALL the services that you haven’t performed and now the vehicle is back to ZERO OR 100 percent on the other services that were either at (service soon) time or at a certain percentage before the system could detected and let you know what else was coming up for services. You could have been at service time for cabin/engine filter change or intermediate service soon. And now your car won’t know since you just told it that all is back to new or has been repaired/replaced.
No it is not, the jack stand is on the jacking point. But I wouldn’t be able to put the jack stand in the correct spot if I lifted from there. I didn’t damage the car or the side panel. Just make sure it’s on the pinch weld. Follow the line from the jacking point.

Not only is it better it is mandatory to use full synthetic oil in this engine.
How often do you change the oil? Every 10,000? 7,000?
I change the oil every 5,000 miles or 6 months.
