Thank you for exploring the “ micro structures” of the central nervous system. Importantly, please begin to explore the sophisticated system of micro cranial bone movement, in conjunction with the reciprocal movement of the sacrum and occiput , to move spinal fluid back to brain, against gravity - and to balance pressures in the CNS. Old clinical diagnostic microbiologist here - lived through extreme CNS dysfunction following neck/ pelvis injury. Two expert neurosurgeons finally helped figure out what happened to me and why. As well, the expert craniosacral chiropractors. An important book : Chiropractic : The Anatomy and Physiology of Sacro Occiptal Technique by Jonathan Howat. I gave this detailed, large text to one of the neurosurgeons - the expert in tethered cord syndrome who defined the disorder - highly published of course, now passed away. He read it. I asked what he thought. He walked around the room, silent - then looked out the window and said, “ It will take 20 years.” The people who are having consistent neuro issues that are hard to solve may have underlying fusion of the filum off center in the sacrum. Published by Hansasuta, Tubbs, Oaks - Univ. Of Alabama - 3 out of 27 “ normal” cadavers had an off midline fusion. I think that this off midline fusion, perhaps combined with a short, tight filum , may be the cause of idiopathic scoliosis - and a torque in the entire neural tube. Hoping that someday the research gets done.
