Japanese no doubt is the best. Better repack and multiple shots increment make it deadliest siege weapon for destruction forces, combined with elite samurai and cavalry protection.

I never stopped to think about this, but you are right. I would change towers in the following ways to push them further to any reasonable use: - Increase their building time +20%. (This will disencourage players to rush). - Decrease the time it takes with extra willagers. (This will encourage players to use extra builders). - Increase the velocity of their arrows. - Increase their HPs significantlly, (so the time siege weapons targets them is trully wasted for the opponent). - Increase their damage a little bit, say +1 per type of tower. This will PUSH towers to being used more, I think, and this will count only as an experiment to see and analyze the reaction of the playerbase. I don't think any of my changes will solve this phenomenon.

But in reality, the Teuton player will crush the Byzantine Cataphract with their Paladins and add in Handcannoniers or Teutonic knights to deal with pikes and Camels the Byzantines will want to train..!

Also legions training time is 50% faster which is op…….🎉🎉🎉

Teutonic elites cannot be killed by Romans even if they are a lot. Only Cavalary have a chance to win. Even Goth elites can kill Romans.

Devs of AoE 2 are just crazy. They do have units and they do have where to place them for the sake of realism, immersion and truth. And they don't.

Hello, I played your mission Basil, what I think is TOP is the landscape, it looks completely believable and real, no dull places where there is only grass - luxurious as a whole. The mission as such was fine, no problems and all the tasks were completed as they were supposed to be, probably the only thing I would cancel is the infinite spawn of the light blue player, it's annoying when you're already preparing for the final, the only thing that was a little difficult were the first attacks.. everyone suddenly and for the first time it destroyed me, otherwise great and I hope that the next missions will be just as graphically elaborate. Thanks

Well, I think that cavalry archers test really should have included some hit and run/kite test, against say, Paladins, or something. Magyars, Mongols and Cumans would probably perform the best, but still worth checking.

Tatars are the ones who has +2 LoS as a team bonus. Also, Cumans' CA being better than Tatars'... Kinda weird 😂. Having 6 melee armor and 7 pierce, they are strong and bulky. I'd say it is around the same tier or better than Turks' or Mongols', having a good save with free thumb ring and Parthian tactics.

Though not a standard CA, Mangudai are king. Fire +25% plus their bonus damage against siege, hence no weaknesses. Just perfect imo! Other than that, i would chose Huns. CA are expensive and their bonus really helps to mass CA, which is critical.

Too bad byzantines havent an uu for it: bucellarii. Should be cool the cataphracts can switch between sword, spear or bow like the indian chariots.

You are right about Turkish skins and muslim countries skins. My suggestion Hussar=>Kızılbash warrior, Knight/Cavalier=> Soghdian Catapracht , Champion => Eastern Swordman, Janissary a new hat.

I think Japanese can deploy actual treb armies with faster pack and unpacking and firing. So with 6-7 trebs the battle won't be easy for the Britons.
