One thing I ADORE about the Legionary is that he has different attack animations depending of which direction he is facing. Feels really reminiscent of infantry animations in the OG Age of Empires 1. _A real shame that its Definitive Edition did away with those. I loved them._ 😔

The dravidians bonus here is the same as the Aztec one, both allow the champion to kill the legionnaires in five hits vs the seven it would normally take. Aztec 21 attack - 6 armor = 15/75. Dravidians do 17, in this case functionally the same. Their wins/losses were pure luck.
you know what? now that the aztec unics are being modified, if im not wrong, i believe that is time to do the same with japanese, chinese and maybe arabic generic units on the future, why not? i dont want to see regular armored champions on japan when that culture never existed, i want at least a reskin or some unique units, maybe, what do you think?
Champions are such high attack units that a bit more armor is not as impactful. I think the biggest impact of that armor is versus low attack units like pikemen or scouts. Bulgarian two-handed swordsmen take 1 damage from fully upgraded halberdiers.
@@Bzhydack correct but with total resources the numbers stay the same, so no obvious bonus like the bulgarians. In realistic scenario they should be included though.

That because they researched the gaba goo along with military sideburn wings, thats 10+ "ayyye" dmg

DUDE, of course legionaries will win vs champions, they have bonus against infantry, this test would be better testing this unit vs more units

Also, big part of Legionares dmg against Champions comes from Bonus Damage vs Infantry, and this ignores armor.
