- Besides the Elite skirmishers of various civilizations and units with anti-cavalry bonuses like the Huskarls from the Goths or the Ghulams of the Hindustanis, there is also a unit that destroys the Mongol's unique unit, the Mangudai. Stop reading here because it is spoiled from now on.
Of course it is the heavy cavalry archer and these are the civs with extra bonuses referring to more pierce, extra damage lower cost etc
Huns: 31
-20% in Imperial Age. Ring Archer Armor
Japanese: 25
+2 attack against Archers (Get all Upgrades)
Mongols: 25
fire 25% faster. Ring Archer Armor
Vietnamese: 25
+20% hit points. Parthian Tactics
Magyars: 25
trained 25% faster. +1 range, +1 attack (Get all Upgrades)
Tatars: 25
25% more damage from higher elevation. +1 melee/+1 pierce armor (Get all Upgrades)
Turks: 25
+20 hit points. (Get all Upgrades)
What are you thoughts on them?
not sure if it's just me but last couple of videos had some graphical issues, weird grey screens
Sometimes they appear to me and sometimes not. I changed the render settings for better quality but it seems it has issues. Is it too disturbing? Should I take down the video?

At first i assumed it was a youtube thing, as it has happened to me randomly on other videos. But it's been happening too much on your videos lately, the quality was fine originally, I'd turn off the high quality setting.
Thank God, I was paranoid and though my GPU was diying.
Mangudai's power is based on micromanagement.

I thought it would be Camel Archer from the Berbers.

But yes they are great against Mangudai

Historically Mongols empire is the second largest empire ever existed the developer should bufff the mongols event more like make mangudai cheaper and increase mangudai bonus damage vs siege give more technology etc

No, they need no buff... One of my favorite civs. And this for HCA is so true, I had several fights against Mangudai with Magyar HCA, they just get wiped

equal resources... but i bet in these scenarios with full upgrades pop cap is most likeky an issue where higher quality beats cheaper units

The Mangudai is a contender for the worst zero micro unit. I'm not even sure what antipersonel unit they beat cost effectively without micro!
Indeed without micro is almost useless
@@DemonAgeOfEmpires2-wf8lv I would not say they are useless, they still have top dps so if another unit tanks for them (like mongol light cav) they are still good, with scattered formation they can take on Siege Onagers cost effectively too. Their combo of Rams + Magundai is really strong for cutting though enemy armies and bases (if you can afford it).
Good thinng you didn't alowed Genitours in the arena or the Mangudais would run away xD

the test with the Tatars Heavy Archer their bonus dosn't come to play because you have them fight on the same elevation. You need to redoe the test with the Tartars on higher terrain so their bonus does come into play
what is happening with those render transitions?

@@thomasbuchovecky171 it's not the software, it's that I tried to push my graphics card to its limits. If you look carefully the graphics are a lot clearer and better than before, but glitches started to appear.
What is the name of the music you're using ? Great videos.
@@tarakmaammar214 all the songs are taken from UA-cam library, I honestly don't recall which one is which, I have saved it in my pc with number names and have no record of the names, but you can find them easy in the Library. They are free to use
