My 7.3 has no wiring harness it's all mechanical it's a 1994 it has 67.000 miles on it manual transmission it will be the last truck I will ever need did I mention it's a F-350

I have a 94 PS, when the key is on should I see the check engine light? I have a crank no start no smoke problem.

Where do you get the wiring harness from my local Ford dealer parts no longer carries the wiring harness for my 2000 F250

I had overboost code, turbo got hot and melted my wastegate wire, truck blows CRAP ton of white smoke when coming out of high revs or a stop from high revs. Can’t really notice the white smoke at idle or driving. Been looking so hard for soulution hopefully you can help. Now my trucks not making any boost, weak, and throwing these two codes P0237 - Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low P1247 - Turbo Boost Pressure Low

All oil is made of molecules. When the oil undergoes pressure, the molecules eventually shear and break down resulting in sludge. Filter housing has to be removed to access HPOP cover bolts. Use tubing instead to suck out oil and replace with funnel.

If you have a hard time with the clamp, you can use an air hammer to rattle the y pipe

Hi Clint “ rookie mistake “ here again with a huge question I know you are super busy but I’m about to change out my low oil pressure pump in my 7.3 about 235.000 miles so I switch over to the Schaffer oil and it’s been two oil changes and then got some starting issues big time so I figured it had to be the low pressure oil pump I just wanted to ask if you think it might have anything to do with the use of the new oil or with the truck of course being older that it’s just that time for the low oil pump I appreciate all you have done for all of us watching you and the channel so any answers would be helpful thanks again hope to see you on soon

outstanding info on the 7.3 I am chasing a weird problem. when I start the 7.3 it struggles for about 10 sec like it's lacking something then it runs fine. i have followed your troubleshooting and damn near replaced everything including wiring harnesses with OEM parts. it has me stumped! any ideas where to go?

It's not a bad idea. My father has an 02 7.3l that has 15-20psi for 22yrs now. If you do stuff right and have supporting mods you'll be fine. This guy is a dry condescending ass hat. Ford does not have top notch parts for performance. Ford has what you need if your truck is stock.

i made it to the end and I didnt put it on double speed. you get a thumbs up and a comment.

I cut my fan scroud in half. Cut on both sides and lift the top half off. To put it back together I used a piece of sheet metal on each side with some short sheet metal screws. Easy to remove the top half and get it out of the way.

Clint.. i was having very erradic idle issues with my 01 - 7.3 and removed my IPR and cleaned it up a bit & reinstalled.. she ran like the low mile engine it is (95,000 original miles).. WOW..! However the next time i started the engine it reverted to idling rough and stalled. I figure it will be worth taking the IPR apart one more time and cleaning it again -- just in case i missed something -- since it made such a big improvement the first time i tried. My question is: what other sensors - or parts - migh be affected by extremely bad oil change intervals.. since i believe most of my idle issues began when i missed an oil change interval, and i added this product called Seafoam and left it in there far too long - probably causing my oil to become a viscous like sludge? Okay Mr Clint thats all and for now -- thanks for another well edited training video with in-depth explanations! 👍😀

Hey Clint @CUSTOMWORKS7.3PSD I believe this might be unrelated but I’ve been having issues with my 2001 7.3 zf6. My cruise control is not working and I have been through everything I can think of. The switches at the steering wheel send signal but nothing happens on the dash. It is a California truck and there is a code for a systems check failure that I believe to be related to my issue if you would have any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

@16:15 When I place the little barrel down onto the alignment pins it sits up high and the pins do not catch it. It can rotate freely then. The piston is pushed down as far as it will go. I noticed that the plunger has a pressed washer like deal on it but it's not pushed all the way to the retaining clip ring. Should it be?
