Man very snappy
Very nice video, thank you.
How long does this last?
@@4EverLuKa The patch lasts longer than most buckings. There are currently R-Hop patches in mine and many of my customer’s builds that are still in and performing great. I will say, I’ve seen one instance where these R-Hop patches failed miserably, and this was in a Kythera DMR build that was clocking in at 500fps w/ .25g and the end user was fielding BLS .50g bbs. .50g BBs are super heavy and are magnetic (plastic can only get so dense 😅). This patch failed because the hop had to be set so high to lift these BBs that it simply obstructed the BBs path… the BB that had about 2.9-3.0 Joules of energy behind it. The bucking also failed. These Elvish Tac patches are made of a dense high temperature silicone. It performs great in all weather conditions, and it handles the friction of hopping BBs very well. These patches are more reliable in LMGs than almost every bucking on the market.
Woa, what trigger is that?
Stock trigger paired with the “Real Feel Trigger Spring” (RFTS) on the Jefftron Leviathan ETU/ MOSFET inside the gun

thanks for the great video! the only one on YT that shows the M4G! have you got any shooting video to share? keen to understand how it behaves with full-auto, especially with the high rof of the GB in the video !
I can try to record a good range test. It’s hard for me because I lack a good runcam/scope cam that can really capture the BB trajectory
Bruh 😯 im late but i have this exact model, how tf can you have your hand that far down the rail? I have a full size scope plus, silencer, cheek pad rest, torch and grip, bipod. Mine is heavy af so i have to have my grip near my mag 😅

@anttechairsoft I think I need too! for this beast, well worth the money! Do you know if they do full tan mags for these? I like mine don't get me wrong it just seems cheap and nasty compared to the rest of the replica
@ the gun in this video is not an Airsoft replica
Hi I would like to buy the “Tracer unit FLARE M BT” do you think I can fit it into a silencer and which one? in reference
@@PANCHY7 this will fit in a wide array of mock suppressors. In the case of my surefire socom 5.56 can, I had to 3D print a sleeve to make the tracer fit snug.
isnt this basically the same as using a hybrid bucking with a gbb barrel in a normal maxx hopup? what is so different about this setup/m4g hopup?

Which Patch do you use for R-Hops? Im running on an Mr. Hop from ML atm
@@DMVR1980 Elvish Tac R-Hop Patches are the best! See my “How to R-Hop” videos!
So I know R-hops are a old trick dose it really make a difference to do all of that work to then have to quite frequently replace and modify the bucking vs just finding a solid bucking/barrel combo? You’re the expert I’m just curious on your thoughts.
These silicone R-Hop patches I use last a very long time. Buckings do need more frequent changes than Elvish Tac R-Hop patches though. In a lot of cases, there is a pre-flattened bucking out there that will work well for a variety of parts setups. The frequency with which you need to change your bucking is like 1-2 years as long as you’re not mistreating your gun.
@anttechairsoft I appreciate all the information!
Just found your channel, I really enjoy your content looking forward to having you do a full build for me soon.
Why do people still buy this brand? Theyre too precisely manufactured to be reliable
yep, ridiculously over engineered. On most builds would yield no better results than a stock inner barrel with something like a ZCI plastic rotary and maple leaf macaron.
@mrpugster I'd rather run a ZCI rotary and a macaron than a maxxhop

Try swapping the metal ring for two 9x7x1mm 70D o-rings. The gbb vfc m249 community found that this gave them better consistency. I tried it with my M4G and it worked tremendously
@@TyltedGaming loving the science!
Is it better than rhop?
@@danielarturodebernardogome832 Negligibly different. Silicone is arguable better contact material for backspin, but the VSR-10 style bucking lips are superior to AEG bucking lips. This ends up making more of a difference in a lot of cases.
I personally recommend avoiding the brand unless you really want to spend stupid amounts of time, and extra money making the rest of your RIF equally as tight in its tolerances

Not sure if I missed it but do these things have good range? I’ve been impressed with the range on the macaron and the super🤌🏻
@@BallewBlade86 these help achieve excellent range. You will want to play with bb weight, bucking hardness, psi/ muzzle velocity, voluming, optimizing air seal in your system, etc. Basically, if you everything right, as you should, these parts yield great results

Why the shaving/polishing on the inner edges of the sector gear? 2:42
@@RealTomw When the gears are shimmed perfectly, but the sector teeth are hitting the piston body, I chamfer the sector teeth so it only contacts the pistons teeth. This is better than lowering the sector gear shimming and potentially compromising the perfect shim job that you once had.
@@anttechairsoft how is that being done?
@@RealTomw carefully rotating the sector gear by hand against a bench grinder/ belt sander at the angle I want the chamfer to be.
Nice I like that. I have a question, is that a G&P body? What Gearbox is that and how is the fitment on it? Can you still put a dummy bolt and pull it back? Thanks.
@@Miguelon88888 G&P body (a 10+ year old body), Gate EON Gearbox (just a more expensive slightly less good retro arms shell), internally it has been reworked but still uses most of the Gate EON parts, and whether you can still use the dummy bolt depends on the base gun and if the dummy bolt/ charging is not broken or missing parts!
@anttechairsoft I have that same G&P Magpul body as well, I put a retro arms gearbox non VFC spec and the shell fits so tight I can't put a dummy bolt. G&P dummy bolt doesn't lock back like VFC but I just want to have there. I just wanted to know the fitment. Thank you though. Where are you located by the way?

@@Lahm2K17 Rumor has it we will be receiving a test unit of the GP25 BOSS Unit for testing, review and science. The GP25 version is publicly known to exist. @@Aidan-Lynch Michael and I have spoken a bit about doing another episode!
Just picked up a VR16 Kythera UGS build from Amped, and can't wait to use it. But I will most definitely be looking into getting another innerbarrel/hop setup from you. The one you did for my Fusion Engine 416 is just too damn accurate, and I've had problems with Amped's internal setups. But the trusty Anttech setup has never failed.
i know that to regulate the psi from the regulator you need an allen key, but how do you know if you are bolow off 80 psi, or above from the 130 psi?, because i would like to run my F2 with 80 or 90 psi like maximun
@@TorksTube You can use a separate regulator with a dial to tune the engine, but this would be a tedious process as you will need to do chrono and range tests with the game ammo you intend to use to properly tune the FCU, then swap back to the UGS. You can note the muzzle velocity you’re getting at your desired PSI and then after swapping the line and regulator back to the UGS, you can set your PSI screw until your gun is chronoing at the muzzle velocity you noted earlier. I understand the desire to be more air efficient when running a smaller tank! Great question!
@@anttechairsoft wow, thanks for the explanation, so the easy way, it’s just going up or down at the UGS regulator and that’s it I guess. How do you do it? And how much shots do you get from your tank?, what settings do you run?. Thanks again!
@@TorksTube I think I’ve only paired one F2 to the UGS, and I honestly didn’t test for round count. I primarily do Kythera builds with the UGS. On most kythera builds, the trend is about 500-600 shots from a 10ci tank depending on the build specs. Keep in mind the 10ci tanks are smaller than the widely available 13ci tanks you’ll see at most Airsoft retailers. The 13ci will definitely give you more shots, but it’s longer and I have only dealt with a few (above average height) people who prefer that length of pull. The 10ci tanks let you retract your stock more which is something I value over sheer shots per tank. I build a lot of my Kythera X UGS builds for people who play MSW where issued ammo can get scarce and mag dumping during a firefight rarely happens. With that said, here at Zulu 24 Airsoft, customers who have purchased one of my Kythera builds usually get 2 10ci tanks, pay for all day air and quickly get their tanks filled when necessary. As for the F2, you can totally tune it to be more air efficient than a Kythera! The Kythera is pretty air efficient, but a tunable FCU does give you a lot of flexibility. Your settings will depend on your barrel bore diameter, barrel length, desired muzzle velocity, and the weight of ammo you PLAY with. The ammo you get chrono’d may often times be a light weight that you wouldn’t field. There is a lot of back and forth when fine tuning your FCU for efficiency without losing performance. If you play indoor, it doesn’t matter much though since it’s rare that you’ll engage someone beyond 100 feet at most indoor arenas.
@@anttechairsoft amazing explanation!! Yes I get one 13ci/3000psi tank, and I get another one 13ci/4500psi carbon fiber one, I’m going to have more than enough with those 2 in a day game, btw it’s going to be a DMR build, so, no auto and no trigger spam. I hope i can fine tune my f2 to be air efficient anyways. Either way you have some discord to contact you? Just in case I can’t with my build? Thanks again!
