thanks for the great video! the only one on YT that shows the M4G! have you got any shooting video to share? keen to understand how it behaves with full-auto, especially with the high rof of the GB in the video !
Try swapping the metal ring for two 9x7x1mm 70D o-rings. The gbb vfc m249 community found that this gave them better consistency. I tried it with my M4G and it worked tremendously
Hi man, i have a kythera using this m4g but the nozzle does not reach the bucking lips even tho i removed all the shims from the inlet adapter... What did you use?
First, always make sure the Kythera is pressurized when testing nozzle length. When depressurized, the nozzle can easily be pushed into the engine when checking the nozzle to bucking relationship. Second, make sure you inserted your barrel and bucking all the way in and ensure the C-clip is attached when testing nozzle length. Third, check the position of your Kythera engine in the gearbox shell. It shouldn’t be able to shift back and forth, and it sometimes helps to constrain the engine as far forward as possible to essentially achieve a slightly longer nozzle length. Fourth, some gearbox shells may require a slightly longer/ shorter nozzle due to their own specs/ tolerances. For Krytac shells, you often times cannot get away with the #1 nozzle that comes standard in V2 Polarstar Engines. Instead you will need a #12 which is slightly longer than the #1.
@anttechairsoft yes i did the alignment under pressure, and put the engine as forward as possibile (i think) cause It has no play inside the Shell. I should try the #12... Even if Already spent too much money 😅
@@danielarturodebernardogome832 Negligibly different. Silicone is arguable better contact material for backspin, but the VSR-10 style bucking lips are superior to AEG bucking lips. This ends up making more of a difference in a lot of cases.
I personally recommend avoiding the brand unless you really want to spend stupid amounts of time, and extra money making the rest of your RIF equally as tight in its tolerances
yep, ridiculously over engineered. On most builds would yield no better results than a stock inner barrel with something like a ZCI plastic rotary and maple leaf macaron.
@@BallewBlade86 these help achieve excellent range. You will want to play with bb weight, bucking hardness, psi/ muzzle velocity, voluming, optimizing air seal in your system, etc. Basically, if you everything right, as you should, these parts yield great results

Very nice video, thank you.
FYI cutting the tab on the side of GBB buckings is REALLY easy.

I can try to record a good range test. It’s hard for me because I lack a good runcam/scope cam that can really capture the BB trajectory

@@TyltedGaming loving the science!
This is a solid idea actually. I really want this unit but I can't get barrels for it in Turkey. So M4A for me for now (HPA SR-25 build)
hop up on while inserting is wildin g
It would be if the nub was protruding through lol, but it wasn’t in this case 😂

@ buy once cry once is real
isnt this basically the same as using a hybrid bucking with a gbb barrel in a normal maxx hopup? what is so different about this setup/m4g hopup?
@@kankerop101 Very different lip designs between the hybrid bucking and VSR-10 style buckings (to include the Wonder/ Super)

You have the same gun I have😅.
Would it be a problem if I use it without inlet adapter?

Why do people still buy this brand? Theyre too precisely manufactured to be reliable

@mrpugster I'd rather run a ZCI rotary and a macaron than a maxxhop
Not sure if I missed it but do these things have good range? I’ve been impressed with the range on the macaron and the super🤌🏻
