    Just picked up a VR16 Kythera UGS build from Amped, and can't wait to use it. But I will most definitely be looking into getting another innerbarrel/hop setup from you. The one you did for my Fusion Engine 416 is just too damn accurate, and I've had problems with Amped's internal setups. But the trusty Anttech setup has never failed.

    i know that to regulate the psi from the regulator you need an allen key, but how do you know if you are bolow off 80 psi, or above from the 130 psi?, because i would like to run my F2 with 80 or 90 psi like maximun

      @@TorksTube You can use a separate regulator with a dial to tune the engine, but this would be a tedious process as you will need to do chrono and range tests with the game ammo you intend to use to properly tune the FCU, then swap back to the UGS. You can note the muzzle velocity you’re getting at your desired PSI and then after swapping the line and regulator back to the UGS, you can set your PSI screw until your gun is chronoing at the muzzle velocity you noted earlier.
      I understand the desire to be more air efficient when running a smaller tank! Great question!

      @@anttechairsoft wow, thanks for the explanation, so the easy way, it’s just going up or down at the UGS regulator and that’s it I guess. How do you do it? And how much shots do you get from your tank?, what settings do you run?. Thanks again!

      @@TorksTube I think I’ve only paired one F2 to the UGS, and I honestly didn’t test for round count. I primarily do Kythera builds with the UGS. On most kythera builds, the trend is about 500-600 shots from a 10ci tank depending on the build specs. Keep in mind the 10ci tanks are smaller than the widely available 13ci tanks you’ll see at most Airsoft retailers. The 13ci will definitely give you more shots, but it’s longer and I have only dealt with a few (above average height) people who prefer that length of pull. The 10ci tanks let you retract your stock more which is something I value over sheer shots per tank. I build a lot of my Kythera X UGS builds for people who play MSW where issued ammo can get scarce and mag dumping during a firefight rarely happens. With that said, here at Zulu 24 Airsoft, customers who have purchased one of my Kythera builds usually get 2 10ci tanks, pay for all day air and quickly get their tanks filled when necessary.
      As for the F2, you can totally tune it to be more air efficient than a Kythera! The Kythera is pretty air efficient, but a tunable FCU does give you a lot of flexibility.
      Your settings will depend on your barrel bore diameter, barrel length, desired muzzle velocity, and the weight of ammo you PLAY with. The ammo you get chrono’d may often times be a light weight that you wouldn’t field. There is a lot of back and forth when fine tuning your FCU for efficiency without losing performance. If you play indoor, it doesn’t matter much though since it’s rare that you’ll engage someone beyond 100 feet at most indoor arenas.

      @@anttechairsoft amazing explanation!! Yes I get one 13ci/3000psi tank, and I get another one 13ci/4500psi carbon fiber one, I’m going to have more than enough with those 2 in a day game, btw it’s going to be a DMR build, so, no auto and no trigger spam.
      I hope i can fine tune my f2 to be air efficient anyways.
      Either way you have some discord to contact you? Just in case I can’t with my build? Thanks again!

      Stock trigger will work, and be sure to use a #12 nozzle. Krytacs have slightly different shell dimensions!

    I have a Kythera in my Krytac with the original hop and rubber now and a 6.01 inner barrel but some bbs goes straight and some turns up in the sky we're and what is the problem I can't get it?

    • @anttechairsoft
      @anttechairsoft  Рік тому +1

      What brand barrel? And be sure to use a NEW bucking, install it with silicone grease lubricant to ensure proper fitment, make sure you’re actually shooting a single bb weight and not a mixed bag of different weights.
      This is a difficult matter to resolve over a UA-cam comment because there are a handful of reasons why you could be experiencing this issue.

    Is it possible to utilize a G&P stock made for holding bottle style air tanks? I would prefer one other than the one that polarstar has with their UGS systems. I don’t like the look of it.
