Hey there again, what is your trick to removing stubborn rust stains. Most likely from metal cabinets on the floor for decades. I am using stripper with a brass brush, course 3m pad, steel wool, toilet bowl cleaner, simple green. I’m trying everything can you help?

I used a Tennant V-LWU-13B before, it’s very reliable and does great at vacuuming rugs in elementary school classrooms and entranceway rugs. One of the best vacuums I’ve ever used. You can get them from Romaine Companies in Hopkinsville, KY.

I was once mopping our stairs and got so embarrassed and worried when one of the teachers started walking down the stairs she slipped and fell right on her butt. I’ll never forget that day as long as I live I couldn’t stop apologizing to her.

LoL 4 th and 5th grade were on a field trip today so I thought I'd spend their usual lunchtimes cleaning the cafeteria floors. The MOMENT I started, everyone, pre-k through 3rd grade traipsed on though, chatting at me as they went by!

I do that but then they walk through the aisles of my store, WHILE THEY’RE BEING MOPPED, THROUGH THE HALF THAT’S ALREADY WET!!!!!!!

I was wondering what I was going to do on my pd day Jeff and they had me and the other evening custodian weedeat for three hours at the high school to get ready for homecoming next Friday , then I spent an hour mowing the courtyard at the intermediate school we work at . It was 95 and humid and I had a horrible heat headache so I had two hours left I pulled trash cleaned the staff and office bathrooms and wiped down and dust mopped library and cleaned front entrance windows but I don't like the way my windows look ever. You're right the squeegee is the most efficientl but I don't know if I could do it quick like you. What would you recommend how many parts dawn dish soap to water. Monday night I am going to try your mop bucket filling method, I hate suds in my mop water.i try to set a goal as to what section I want to be at what time I'm usually close. At 59 I'm no speed demon I kind of just hammer away at a consistent pace. The one thing I do want is a cordless shark vaccum , that would save me alot of time alone in itself.

The bathroom cleaning machine does an amazing job getting rid of that smell , i try to use it two or three times a week . We have a product called juvenal and i love the way that stuff smells.

I work in a plant but I have 2-3 cases of tp and as much as extra pt as my shelves will hold in all my closets😂Somehow we are always without tp in the supply room for 3 days and we have 3 carts to keep stocked😵‍💫

How long did u let the cleanser sit after you scrub? Or can you wipe it right off

That vaccum and those like it would be a complete joke in my school. Have 26 large classrooms and 4 offices every night. About 3 hours of work. The corded backpack is the only one that can do a good job.

Jeff I this is going to sound stupid but I just had a custodian quit on me because I would not allow him to use a leaf blower on low speed to blow out the classrooms in a elementary school . I told him if he could name one school or school system that allows a custodian to use blowers in a classroom I would let him do it . Well he’s no longer with us lol . Do you use vaccumms in the classrooms to vacuum tile floors?

Used a corded Sanitaire and it was the BEST vacuum ive ever used. Too bad a sub dumped a mop bucket then used the vacuum to "suck it up" cuz it wasnt "his vacuum"

Back Vacs are a pain that I’m glad I don’t have to use anymore. They dig into my shoulders and hurt like hell. I don’t know if you talk about them in this video but yeah those vacuums are the worst in my opinion.

I bought one of those cordless Sanitairs and love it! When the maintenance guys do work and make a mess, they actually clean up after themselves. We have tried to get the district to purchase some, but no luck yet.

Do u have any big grade corded units like original sanitares or any corded commercial vacuum in general?

Dyson V15 detect is the best investment I made to make my job at work easier. the auto mode makes the battery last all day, I even have the carpeted library in my section, but it does have a removable battery if you needed another. If u want to upgrade it fully you can get the XL motorhead for a bigger cleaning path. the only cons besides price that I found is the wheels they use are not industrial grade and break easy if you drop it on floor with out care i remedied this by putting small Teflon sliders with double sided tape after the back wheels came off, with the low pile carpets it works just as good if not better. The newer models don't have triggers which i don't feel is an advantage in this field. Although it was pricey id buy it again if i had too with how much time and hassle it saved me looking for outlets.

I love the broom analogy. I ve never looked at the broom that way. But I have said " it's job security" after cleaning an area and then cleaning it again an hour later. Your videos are great!! And full of information!!

Does it mitigate asbestos exposure when using, dust particle and inhalation can be dangerous not knowing if contaminants particles are in the wax dust.
