We had a teacher at the high school who would complain about everything we used, and believed that only bleach would work. It got so bad we had to just get a spray bottle and some bleach to spray in her sinks to appease her nose.

This just showed up and i am eager to watch more of your videos. Ive worked for a cleaning service for 20 years. Im 44. My boss is 60 and not in the greatest physical health. Hes had several knee surgeries, back, neck surgery. He also had throat cancer several years ago. We do Carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, tile and grout cleaning, tile floor stripping and waxing, flood an.fire damage. We've got jobs scheduled for residential or commercial every week. Him and his wife have 4 kids but none of them are interested in his business. The 2 sons have helped but it was nothing they wanted to do. My boss has been hinting around he will eventually put me in charge when he can't do it anymore . My stepdad also told me yesterday that my boss told him the same thing. I guess ill eventually either be owner or co owner.

I clean a gym and purposefully get there over two hours before they open just so I can be alone and clean lol. I enjoyed this topic and with my job being at a gym it makes for a hard balance between removing odors and not using over powering cleaners because members working out need fresh air that doesn't smell like fabul-grosso

We use a virucidal cleaner sanitiser for everything and its odourless.

We’ve taken away lots of the deodorizers and aerosol disinfectant sprays away from the custodians. They would just use them to just mask that they didn’t actually clean areas. The old adage if it smellls clean then it is clean isn’t always true.

We use envirox orange cleaner for everything. Mopping, carpet shampooing, you name it.

At my school board if there’s dishes we skip cleaning the sink but there’s always that one room where leave them for months and you start to wonder if they expect you to clean the dishes for them because the only way I’m touching your dirty ass dishes is to throw them in the trash 😂

When using products that are scented, there are many people who are very sensitive to aromatic smells. Use products that are chemically neutral. Using products that produce a surfactant that becomes sticky, not good.

What about using cleaning grade vinegar on floors

Im a floor tech at a hospital and we use a neutral cleaner but the ladies that clean patient rooms has to use a disinfectant cleaner that leaves a sticky film on the floor. When we go to buff those floors its like buffing a dirty car. It leaves swirls in the wax and destroys our pads with hard black debris.

I'm a custodian at a elementary school. I find myself watching your videos often. I've been wondering what to use in my dull floors and it's like you read my mind. I can't stand fabuloso the lavender scent it's just too strong, I just use what's given to us being Stride but I do bleach my mop often usually on a Friday so I can then let it drip/air dry over the weekend

Great advice I've chemically stripped floors many times however I have a question about doing a top scrub when do you a top scrub do you burnish and then lay down a few coats of wax? Or can you just lay the wax down on the floor right after the top scrubbing process?
