I measured on my scale but it shows ounces. In the directions when it talked about ounces, is that weight or volume?

These young guys are just not workers. Hell he would have NEVER made it on the farm. I am 71 and i work circles around so many young guys in my life. Of course they do not care, I am from a time when being a hard worker was something to be proud of. And being lazy was something to be ashamed of.

I have the Scotts silent mower (believe it's the version before yours), and the bolts on the bed knife are labeled "L" and "R". One of them was actually reverse threaded. Not sure why, but suspect you were dealing with same thing with the bolt you broke.

Hi, can you do a video on the blade adjustments as well. I got the same and I feel its very tight to move when I adjust the blades with paper cut test done. Seen few videos where the blades rotate freely and cut the paper as well. Lower back was hurting after pushing this over the 7000sft lawn. what am I missing.

Is it necessary to recalibrate when changing spray heads ? Is a surfactant needed when applying prodiamine ?

Every video iv looked up, to show the assembly so i can see how to attach the lower handle to the pegs on the main body, skips over that part.... the only difficult part of assembling this thing. Im convinced that they had to call someone else to help them at this point.

Derik, could you help me? I need some clarity on applying Cytogro to my lawn for the first time. 1. First of all, and forgive my dumb question, but how much is .8 ounces? Is that 80% of an ounce? Forgive my stupidity. I will be playing it in my backpack sprayer, so how much do I put in per gallon of water? 2. Since I will be applying it with a backpack sprayer, do I just get the lawn wet or do I put it down heavier and saturate? 3. Does Cytogro get absorbed through the blades of the grass? In other words, do I not have to worry about soaking it down to the roots? Your responses would be very helpful. Many thanks, Dan.

You’re favorite sprayer is probably clogged. I cut an old milk jug put in soapy dish water, soak the sprayer tips (in you’re case the sprayer nozzle, adjust it to different settings), and clean the tank, rinse, then vinegar & water. , rinse & let dry. Give it a try. That’s how I clean my sprayers & wand tips. Need to rinse thoroughly, this stuff will clog up the little measuring thing … not a lot you can do about that, it clogs in the inside tube…this product does work. I also use the weed killer. Good products.

Kelp has two different types. Cytokinins for root grown and gibberellic for top growth. I'm glad you are working on those roots! I watched another video someone was saying when you buy kelp, it doesnt specify which one you're getting, so the bottle you got is perfect. Humic acid and super thrive are good options to mix in. Again advice I got from another youtuber

A leafhopper is similar to a grasshopper. They have more defined wings giving them an almost moth look. Wisdom TC is similar to what you have from Tractor Supply. It can be mixed with Tempo SC ultra for an ultimate bedbug killer. Crossfire can only be bought on the Internet. That one's not recommended for lawn treating. There's a little black bee that is called a sweat bee. That could be what you have. Remember, these chemicals can kill pollinators and destroy honeybees.

Why go to all the trouble to protect your feet and hands if your not even going to protect your lungs. If you can spell it you are getting it into your body. Skin protection yes is very important, probably equally or more important is protecting your lungs. It's unfortunate, but I see it all the time people spraying without masks, something to consider while your spraying. While you're spraying it your body is immersed in the chemical while you're breathing, which maybe just as detrimental to your health. Just consider what those chemicals are doing to your lawn, nitrogen is always very bad for your lungs, just because it is organic or whatever doesn't mean it's okay for your body.

I had a huge bug problem "Sod Webworms, Mole Crickets, Moles, Chinch, Grubs and ants", I no longer have that problem but I have been using triazicide on a weekly bases for the past 2 years. The bottle says good for 6 months which is crap when I used one bottle it seemed to just pissed them off. but know everything is dead which makes me happy but what damage am i doing to my grass? Please dont tell me about the environment or water I know triazicide only puts in a small amount .05%.

Just bought that mower last week, ur not kidding it is a workout but lawn looks really good afterwards. Used it 3 times so far, brought my lawn down to 1.5 in and it looks better than it did at 3.5 inches
