Carbon X Application and Lawn Update | Lazy Chat

- Recorded May 20th. 2 weeks after my XGRN DIY application I decided I didnt put down enough nitrogen, so it's time for some CX DIY (CarbonX). I did a little chat beforehand, as always. This time of the year the weather here in Nebraska can get a little unpredictable, so I got about 4 straight days of ran 2 days after applying this, so I'm not sure how effective this will actually be. We'll find out!

Second round here was Ammonium sulphate, guano, fishbone meal, soft rock phosphate and humic acid.

I will be interested in your results. I leave in Virginia and have TTTF. I put down a good dose of MicroGreene last week and I just don’t see the results. On top of that, I have issues with my Ortho hose end sprayer clogging too many times. I will finish out what I have and I don’t see me re-ordering any more of that product. I am into 4 weeks of .8 lbs of N rate CX 8-1-8, Hybrix Lawn, and Hybrix Pasture being put down in strips in my backyard. So far it seems that the Hybrix Lawn has slightly better color. It seems the only way I can get good color in my backyard is with higher rates of N. I am low in K so I will be using the CX 4-0-24 product this summer to try bolster up the K levels and hopefully provide some relieve.

Lazy Lawns I did look at that but I decided against it because the potassium is from muriate of potash which is a salt. I kinda felt that a salt in all the heat we get is not a positive thing. I could be wrong but I try most of the time to look at the ingredients used.

Wow, that was fast
I’ve opened 3 bags of CX
1st had white prills
2nd had cream prills like in the video
3rd opened and applied yesterday had the light blue prills
All the same stuff.
The variations are interesting
Cookies and cream I believe is last years blend. The one with the blue prills is this years. Don't quote me on that. I'm not sure why it's happening either.
I got some stuff coming today that I might be putting down.
