I don't see how Alien: Romulus is in the same tier as Heretic. Perhaps its a decent enough horror film on it's own but - It's a TERRIBLE Alien film, and probably the worst in the series.

Not a horror film buff or old school film fanatic but I find this movie more suspenseful than anything else I've ever seen. I suspect the idea was to keep this suspense going and that the plot is just a vehicle to deliver it so no need to pick apart a horror film just as we don't need to pick apart a sci-fi movie for an unrealistic future.

Movie fan but not really a horror fan speaking and this movie was very good. The Heretic as well. See you over there!

from the point of view of an Asian viewer, Hongkong cinema was having its day back in the 80-90s as the Hollywood of the East, and 2 common characteristic of these oldschool movies are over the top unrealistic kungfu skill, and the stress on brotherhood, good gangs kind of thing, so basically this movie pay homage to the golden era of Hongkong cinema secondly you can also looked it up, but many character here are Hongkong legends of the 80-90: the hero boss, the old fat guy, the old guy with white hair, and the cameo of the father of the main character who die in the past it kind of like we got Bruce willis, Sylvestor stallone, Harrison Ford, and Arnold on the movie ít bring a lot of nostalgic emotions to Asian viewer, the final acts with them all die, it also mean some kind of passing the torch to the next generations of younger heroes, symbolically

Longlegs - I'm middle of the road on this one Sleep - Haven't seen Late night with the devil - literally fell asleep watching this one Terrifier 3 - I love this movie so much; prefer 2 though Oddity - I didn't find this scary whatsoever, but I found it very compelling. One of the better (not best) slowburn movies that I've seen. Smile 2 - This felt just too disjointed for me; that said, it sure doesn't feel like it is as long as it is Heretic - Have not seen, but really want to Mads - This was technically impressive for sure, but at the end of the day, it's another 'zombie' movie. Quite engaging though! The Substance - This one knocked me for a loop. While not my favorite of the year, I still think it's the best of the year, if that makes sense? Nosferatu - Haven't seen; not interested

Smile 2 also has great atmosphere. Definitely my favorite movie of 2024.

VHS beyond should be A imo. Hell, every VHS entry (apart of VHS Viral) is A tier. Those movies are soooo good!

Finally someone talking about In a Violent Nature, Americans mostly hate on it cause it's different and they feel it's boring. It follows the slasher genre pretty good, like it feels for me like a friday the 13th part 6 kinda movie one of my favorite friday the 13th movies btw.

I feel like this movie really suffers from "if you try to make something bad you will succeed." You can say all this "oh it's not boring, it's actually" stuff until you're blue in the face but this isn't Skinamarink, this isn't even Antrum, this is just "watch a dude walk in the woods and then hit people with a hatchet. The end." It's kinda just... bad.

You said that Hugh Grant and Naomi Scott deserve Oscar nominations but yet you put their films in the A category and not the S, please make sense of that.

Personally I just want to watch movies and play games that don't shove moronic politics down my throat. I will either get entertainment by playing/watching or I'll get entertainment by making fun of it and the idiots that created it. Don't get me wrong either, I agree people are in it for the money, that doesn't change the fact that the entertainment industry has been taken over by religious zealots, weather you are a member of their religion or not is inconsequential, sales numbers don't lie. Toxic positivity and partisan bullshit is destroying the entire industry and a course correction is needed. Either "anti-woke" wins or the industry collapses, there is no other option. There is no future in which these bigots make a product that appeals to the majority.

Not all anti-woke are grifters I mean some of their views are pretty much just common sense. I mean yeah some people are just going to talk common sense to the masses because it's profitable, however there are people who just point out common sense with sincerity. They're also woke grifters who pushed their ideals because they know it's profitable to sell bullshit to far left wing dumbasses. It's not like they can win due to their efforts. I mean, if no one posted a thousand boring clips of all the reasons to hate certain moves, do the movies become good? it's just whining on the web; the modern act of crying into a well, by people too dumb to realize there has always been incredibly bad movies made every year. Sane people ignore the bad and build their vid-brary with the few good ones. This fixation on trash is unnatural and a bigger waste of time than the flop movies.

Most of them are not Grifters, since most woke media is objectively terrible. Now I would agree that there is a giant incentive to making anti woke content in the form of Money. So its sort of a free money grab, since you dont even have to grift. It is literally slop, similiar to commentary channels.

Why do you care what they'll do if they win? Maybe they go on long overdue vacations? I as a consumer and not creator will once again enjoy non-woke games, books, comics, movies and tv series.

This is really insightful. Never gave it much thought until RW shined a light on their business model. Wokeness has got out of hand and an entire cottage industry and monetisation that has sprung around anti-wokeness is utterly bizarre. It's so...tiring. I have started to check out from either side. The amount of "older" stuff I am watching has increased dramatically.

I would put the substance the same as you on S. Was my favorite movie this year. I would disagree with Terrifier 3. I didn't like the 1, I fell in love with the 2nd but 3 isn't on the same level as Terrifier 2 and it felt all like a cliffhanger. So in my opinion It doesn't deserve the S rank even if I am a big fan of the series

Who is here after Watching Heretic it was Psychological suspense Thriller

Nice video, however, I simply cannot agree with putting Directors Cut on the same level as Blue Beetle and the Flash. The SN cut had some soul and effort put into it but the others are soo GENERIC and quite frankly feel like they were written by little children, not to mention everything else about them. Visually, SN's justice league was striking and engaging but the others on B tier were soooo excruciatingly boring and made me want to bawl my eyes out. They felt and looked like money grabs and desperately looked as if they were trying to copy the comedic nature of Gunn's superhero movies. Still love these videos though, keep them up. Can't wait to see the state of the new DCU

In a violent nature fucking sucks. Not because it’s “slow”, but because it’s fucking stupid, the script is shit, the acting is worse, and the movie is incredibly boring.

Substance really was a completely dif movie to me last half hour. Thematically I get it, and in that point its track makes sense but how it was illustrated meh.

It’s super good. That War Hammer one was so visually engaging and the New World one was hilarious, maybe my favourite. I also think the PAC Man one was slightly odd but a quite thrilling take on such a 2-dimensional character. Cant wait for the rest.
