I absolutely loved Furiosa, and a controversial opinion of mine is Furiosa is better than Mad Max Fury Road, but Furiosa being better than Dune 2 is a wild take, however, I respect your pov. Dune 2 is one of the greatest films ever made. The practicals, soundtrack, writing, and adaptations are transcendental.

Furiosa is something I can watch anytime and have fun But Dune 2 is not something I will revisit over and over again cause there are parts it felt like I'm watching one of the long Games of Throne episodes and kind of slow. It just my take anyway. Yes I understand your opinion too.
Probably half of these r not SF. Dune 2 was so bad. Can't remember hardly any part of the film. Too many popular actors wrongly cast. Actually looking at the list it's an abysmal year for movies at least mainstream level

Godzilla Minus One was last year. It hit Netflix this year but it had a theater run last year.

It was a solid film, but some of the writing and acting was weak, and homage is good, but there was too much homage.
Furiosa is as good as Dune 2 and for a rewatchtibility I prefer Furiosa more and it's in my S tier movie of the year too.
