Im currently growing an S. Repens "lawn" in my tank with only tissue cultures. My water is hard, 200-300ppm, PH 7.6, amd no C02. Light is a Hygger HG-016. Its coming in nice.

To add more context: It's thought that juvenile kissing gourami are doing this as a form of challenge, the same way a betta might flare its gills at another to signal "you're in my territory". The difference is, the gouramis don't typically have a physical confrontation, and they grow out of this behavior. So it's unclear what the exact reason is.

I use a plastic razor for acrylic and it works well on glass too. They're cheap and come with replacement blades on amazon

O o O clown loaches get that big!!!!! OMG I'm glad I didn't get them! <3 I love their cute faces and stripes, but I went with their cousins the noodley khuli loach instead <3
