I have a lot of shrimp in those tanks, which helps take away food sources from snails. Removing algae and those excess nutrients should help a lot in diminishing the snail population. Thanks for watching Chris!👍
Great video! That hillstream loach is really cool, we actually have an invasive loach here in Oregon that spread through the Columbia River basin!! (Oriential weatherfish)
Gorgeous no-filter tank. You can DEFINITELY add more Neons. Plenty of room and they like being in large groups. BTW, that looked like a pretty nice big box LFS. I've noticed some Petco and Pet Smart stores have upped their game in aquatics, gearing more attention to fish health and aquascaping.
thanks Steffan, I've noticed the same thing as well. this petco has improved so much since I first visited there a few years ago and I'm sure it'll continue to do better. I will certainly be adding more neons as well as the black ones. 😁
We love those hillstreams….. used to have a life of the kind of died off and we never got anymore. We’ll probably get some more again….. They’re such a neat little guys.
Love your tanks! You do have a variety. That hillstream loach was a score! What fish do you like best now? And this looks like the Brea Petco, but it does resemble the Lakewood one. Take care.

How do you have no pest snails?

Nice to see the 29 still going. The catfish may be a doradid.
Great fish tour vid, buying fish is always fun. 😎👍
