I was at the game. There were a ton of Broncos fans in stadium. Bad penalty hitting Herbert on slide changed the game. And a missed PI on Chargers were huge. Penalties and defensive miscues blew game more than the offense. Bo was insane in first half. Defense plays at its normal level and offense would've been irrelevant in 2nd half.

I live in Denver and for some unknown reason after broncos drafted Nix there was an unbelievable amount of Bo Nix hate coming from the pundits and I couldnt understand why because Nix is such a humble dude. He's confident and a good leader but humble, always giving everybody else the credit when things go well and always taking the blame when things go awry. It seems people go out of their way to nit pick his play! Here in Denver he gets blasted for every mistake. Maybe their jealous of his smokin hot wife.

LOL. This is about the first game where the "scripted plays" actually worked this season. The Broncos were exactly the opposite of what they have been all season... good in the first half terrible in the 2nd. In the 2nd half our O line was atrocious allowing pressure on Nix when the Chargers were only rushing 4, pathetic. The sad thing is the entire team O and D went to shit the 2nd half, they took their foot of the gas and paid the price.

I dont think you can properly grade Caleb on this season based on the level of dysfunction, that being said, when u score 0 points in the first half 4 weeks in a row, it can't be all the coaches. Merrill hodge said it best last year on Colins podcast, he doesn't see it neither have I. Ive seen this for years with the bears organization they blame the coach and want them fired then they get worse,. They haven't found anyone successful since lovie smith and it aint going to change, they will screw it up. There is literally no evidence that calebe has anything else but the wow plays and when you make them when they're down 20 and the defense is playing soft then its not really a wow game changing play

I always give division games a 50/50 chance no matter who is playing who. Shit division teams always beat way better division teams its just a mental thing. But in reality, I expect them to win but will they? probably not. Even with a loss, we can still get to 11 wins. I'll take that all day. No one with a brain really expects Washington to make a legit SuperBowl run. The NFL is literally an "Any given Sunday" league could they make the Superbowl yes, could they win the Superbowl yes. Anyone can. HOWEVER, I don't expect them to. We already surpassed my expectations this year as a fan. I'm not a delusional Philly fan who calls for our HC to be fired EVERY year if we don't win the Superbowl. 11 wins a playoff appearance is a good year for me at this point for Washington. The idea that I'm most excited about is that Jayden has proven he's legit(which is all I cared about this year) We could have won 5 games as long as he balled out like he has done I would have been ok with 5 wins. That coupled with the success we have had and Peters showing he knows what he's doing and DQ showing he's a players coach it has made Washington a legit place that I feel like players want to come to. That's what I'm most excited about. We now have a legit chance at good players in the offseason wanting to come here and be a part of this team. When was the last time we fans could say that? That will only in turn make us better. With another full offseason including a draft and free agency, we should be legit for real next year. I just praying to sweet baby Jesus that Kliff doesn't bail on us after one year. Stick around get more and better players and come back PLEASE.

What weopons is colin referring too. And before this week everybody was saying Nix was throwing downfield too much, he's 2nd to lamar in 20+ yard plays. Now last night the complaint is he checked down all game. You cannot win despite him being a rookie without established weopons. Sutton is a no.2 receiver, no tight ends and no running game.

Maybe the running game problem is way too much rotation. You need Estime to get in rhythm, you need Blake Watson has to get in rhythm, Javonte is CLEARLY not his old self and is a liability. I think that's on Sean, but he has done more good than bad by far, no coach is perfect. Bo has to be nearly perfect to win the game and that is still too much to ask a rookie. Future is bright and I expect better execution in the final 2 games of the season.
